Secrets

Shinya POV

"Mahiru..." I heard Guren mutter under his breath

I quickly jumped away, evading his attack. Everyone else had been knocked out. Still up in the air I quickly called forth, Byakkomaru.

'Shinya, you cannot trust this man anymore. He will kill you.' Byakomaru warned

I hesitated, I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger.

"H-he wouldn't do that..Guren isn't like that!" I stammered

'You can't be sure. But Shinya, how many of his own men did you watch die by his hand?'

Damn it, Guren. You can't keep thinking that you can manipulate everything into going your way...

"Let's do this, Byakkomaru."

I landed on the ground firing shots towards Guren, he kept slicing through them. I quickly casted an illusion spell, and disappeared in the smoke screen. He then got close to my doppelgänger and sliced through it. It was my chance. I ran behind him and placed an exploding fuda on his shoulder,

"Explode,"

He placed one on me as well,

"Same to you."

We both weren't quick enough to disenchant the fudas we both flew across the concrete. We both ran towards each other dropping our weapons. He managed to punch me in the gut, leaving me a bit winded. I grabbed the collar of this uniform and slammed him to the ground. He quickly kicked my feet, making me land on my back. He quickly got on top of me, claiming this his victory.

"Maaaan, I lost to you?" I managed to say playfully

"You could've won. But you didn't maintain your range. You of all people should know that close-ranged fighters are put at an disadvantage against long-range." He lectured

We both stayed silent,

"..you wanted to punch me for all of the secrets I've been hiding from you guys, huh?"

I laughed, "Fine, you still have more secrets to keep right? I won't go easy on you next time, Guren."

"Sorry," He pulled his arm back ready to knock me out

"You better be..Its always your fault" I rouse

Gurens POV

'Guren..Why did you bring Shinya and the others here in the first place? It's not worth taking the risk of them vanishing.' Mahiru wondered

I stayed silent,

'I see..the drugs are no longer having the same effect that they used too. That's why you brought them, to show them that you're weak. If you didn't you would become a demon...' She went on

"Shut up." I said walking towards the mansion

'Does Yuichiro and his companions know who else you resurrected besides Shinya and the others?'

I stopped, that was something that I didn't want to think about. It was too painful. Considering my past lover, Mahiru. Had killed them all brutally.

I shook my head,

Especially when I still haven't seen her in months since she was captured. I kept thinking, wether I should or not. I continued walking, ignoring my demon. When I walked down the stairs into the cellar, Yuichiro and everyone else was there.

"Guren! Wait! What are you doing here?! Seriously?!" He continued blabbering

I was getting a headache from Yuus continuous questions and yelling, I hit him hard on the head,

"Shut up, you little brat! Geez!!"

Yuu just smiled, " Judging from this reactiooon, you aren't possessed."

Then something caught my eye. It was a girl, she was a vampire as well. It perked my curiosity. She wore a progenitor uniform, she had the same hair as (y/n)..but the (y/n) you knew wasn't a vampire.

"And who might you be?" I asked politely

The girl shook her head and ran past me to go upstairs. You couldn't handle it right now, but you heard people yelling downstairs. She looked like she was in pain when she saw me. But why? Everyone was silent when she left.

"Um, who was she?" I ask them

They still stayed silent until Yuu broke it,

"That.."He inhaled,

"Is (y/n).."

It hit me like a brick. I panicked, the person I fell in love with, and I didn't even notice?

"I'll be back!" I ran upstairs

I panicked, and ran outside looking for her everywhere. I finally came across a large cherry tree. She was perked up on one of the branches sobbing. I fell to the ground. I couldn't believe it.

I couldn't save her from getting turned into a vampire.

I couldn't save my friends

I couldn't save my father

I brought back people I shouldn't have.

I couldn't hold back my tears.

"Guren...?" I hear her voice get closer,

Tears fell from my face. I quickly got up embraced her. I've longed to see her. When I hugged her, her body was cold, dead. But I want to be able to make her warm and alive again. I nuzzled my head into her hair. She slowly begins to hug me back.

"I won't let you go again..!" I swear

She caressed my face wiping away the tears, and kissed me.

I swear I'll find a way to permanently bring you, Shinya and the others back to life. If I don't...you'll be turn to ash and disappear in two years time...

''Mahiru, it's possible that I can Yes?" I ask her in mind

'Well yes. But you would have to have complete control over all six trumpets..'
