Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of SpongeBob has died of ALS at the age of 57, which in my opinion is too young to die. I, just like many people, grew up with SpongeBob. But my love for the show didn't really take off until after I saw The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in theaters when I was little. Now, for a while, my parents actually banned the show. They said that it was scientifically proven to make people stupid. They eventually admitted that they lied they just thought the show was dumb but I've always loved it and always will. In my opinion, they might as well end it now that Stephen is gone though because it will never be the same again.

Rest in peace Stephen Hillenburg.

Thanks for all the laughs
