That's Not The Point

Jimin was gone by the time I woke up the next morning. I rolled out of bed and saw a note taped to the mirror.

"Morning beautiful.

I've gone to practice for the comeback. I should be back later tonight, but don't wait up for me. Make sure you eat properly.

Love you baby.

Jimin x x x x"

I sighed and threw the note onto the bed. I made my way to the bathroom and had a quick shower before heading downstairs. I plaited my hair on the way and I wanted to hit something when I saw the state of the kitchen.

It looked like a bomb had gone off. I don't know how Jimin made such a mess when all he made was beans on toast! I threw the pots into the sink and flicked the kettle on. I was getting fed up with being the cleaner and Jimin still didn't like to tidy up after himself. It was unfair to me because he knew that I was in pain.

I rubbed the sharp pain in my chest and made myself a cup of tea before heading to the sofa. I lowered myself down and sighed. I hated that painkillers didn't take my back pain away but I didn't want to take anything too strong because it made me feel sick.

I had to take my mind off the back pain and mess in the kitchen. I was going to be home alone once again even at the weekend...Jimin's days off. I gritted my teeth once more and turned the TV on just to see my face spread all over the news.

Once again.

"Mrs Park has put on weight...should she lose the weight to keep Jimin happy?"

"Where is Hana? No one has seen her for months. Could she be embarrassed to be seen with Jimin?"

"How could someone so disgusting still be with Jimin?"

"This bitch doesn't deserve to be with someone so famous"

"Hasn't she died already? Jimin hasn't made an appearance with her for months, so she must have killed herself right?"

I rolled my eyes and changed the channel until I found another crappy film. People needed to get over that I was still married to Jimin. It had been a year and yet they still spread hate. It was pathetic really. As fans of Jimin, they should have been more understanding that he was happy being married to me or at least be more respectful of his decisions. They didn't own him but they thought that Jimin belonged to them.

Those fans annoyed me. Jimin wasn't an object. He was a human being and he was married to me. But they hated it. It was like he wasn't allowed to be happy or be his own person because they thought they were the ones for him.

My phone buzzed beside me and I smiled at the message.

Minhyuk: I'm bored...amuse me

Me: Why don't you amuse me?
I'm bored as well

Minhyuk: I'm coming over.
Give me 20 minutes :)

I smiled and went to change out of my pyjama's. I loved living in my pyjama's but I always got dressed when someone came over. It was normally comfy clothes, like tracksuit bottoms and one of Jimin's tops. I didn't have to impress my best friend and it was likely he was wearing a similar outfit.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs, the doorbell went. I frowned and went to answer it.

"Package for Mrs Park," The man said and handed me a large bunch of flowers "Sign here please"

I quickly signed for the flowers and he went on his way. I walked to the kitchen and placed the bunch on the side. I grabbed the note and just stared at it. It didn't have a name just a simple message.

I have always loved you...I will always watch you...

"Ok then," I said "That isn't weird in any way"

I decided to leave the flowers in the kitchen and picked a film for when Minhyuk turned up and I had a feeling he was bringing snacks.

A little while later, I opened the door to him and I was right. He had a few bags of snacks, plus his band members. They all smiled and hugged me before making themselves comfortable. I sighed and made myself comfortable on the sofa.

"We were worried about you," Shownu said "You've not been wanting to spend any time with us recently"

"It's because my back hurts and I've not wanted to leave the house," I said, "Hey, are they sweets  in that bag?"

"Either you saw inside the bag or you have an x-ray vision," Minhyuk said, handing me the bag "Or you knew they were there because I never come to see you without sweets"

I grinned "That too. Thank you"

"No problem"

"Hana, how are you feeling?" Kihyun said "You don't look well. Are you eating properly?"

"I'm eating"

"That didn't answer my question though," Kihyun said "Jimin should be looking after you. Where is he?"

I bit into my lip "He's gone to practice for their comeback"

"Didn't you say that Jimin stopped doing that at the weekend?" Changkyun said and I nodded "Then why isn't he at home?"

I shrugged "I don't know. His comeback is important"

"So is his wife," Wonho said "I don't get him! He does everything to make you happy and spend time with you, then he suddenly goes back to how he was"

"I can't blame him for wanting to work hard"

"That's not the point," Jooheon said "You're important too and that is a big mess in the kitchen. So much for cleaning up after himself"

"I'll go sort it out for you," Hyungwon said getting to his feet "You stay put and put your feet up"

I sighed as Minhyuk lifted my feet onto the table "You know I could have done that myself"

"So?" He laughed "I'm your best friend and since Jimin isn't here to do it, I will look after you"

"Jeez. Ok, mum" I laughed.

"Hana," Shownu said, "Have you heard from your parents?"

My heart dropped to my stomach and I shook my head "They disowned me. They have their attention on the daughter they wanted. Eujin is more important than me"

"I don't get why" Minhyuk scoffed "Do they not care that they are going to be grandparents?"
