Chapter Thirty-Eight | Ellie's Wedding

The greatest happiness of life
is the conviction that
we are loved;
loved for ourselves, or rather,
loved in spite of ourselves.

"Okay, let me put your veil on." I said.

I grabbed the long veil with scattered pearls and corded edge and put it on Ellie.

"Thanks, Cèline." Ellie said.

"You're welcome." I said.

Then Ellie went and looked in the mirror. I could tell she was already to walk down the aisle. Then Ellie picked up her teardrop pearl necklace and put them on and also put her teardrop pearl earrings.

"You look really beautiful, Ellie, I'm so happy for you." I said.

"Thanks, Cèline." Ellie said when she turned and looked at me.

Then we hugged each other as Ellie's parents came into the room.

"Oh, Ellie, you look beautiful." Ellie's mum said.

"Thank you, mum." Ellie said.

"So, Ellie, are you ready?" Her dad asked.

"Yes, I am." Ellie answered.

When it was almost time for the ceremony to start which was 2:00pm, Ellie and I grabbed our bouquets and we, along with her Mum and Dad left the room and went downstairs and out over to the car.y minutes later they had arrived to the church and had been told they were ready to start.

Ellie watched as Cèline with Michael walked down, then Henry and Taylor and then Joshua and Vanessa and soon enough the wedding march began her father linked arms with her and they began walking down the aisle. As soon as she spotted chuck there were butterflies in her stomach. She reached her groom and he then linked arms with her.

"You look absolutely beautiful I could not picture you in a better dress." he said in her ear. Causing her to blush but it looked good on her.

The priest then began.

"We are gathered here today to join Caspar Jopling and Elena Jane Goulding in Holy matrimony."

Today had gone perfectly and I couldn't help but smile as I took in the scene around me. The bride looked beautiful, and was beaming with joy as her groom swept her around the dance floor. Champagne was flowing freely, and it wasn't long before the dance floor quickly filled up with other couples eager to join in the fun.

Satisfied that my duties of maid of honor was complete and Ellie's dream wedding had gone off without a hitch, I slipped away from the happy couple and made my way to the far side of room where my husband was sitting with my brother, Harry and Meghan.

"Here comes the maid of honor." Harry said.

"Hello, wedding guests." I said as Demarco pulled me to his lap.

"Are you two okay?" Demarco asked rubbing my belly.

"We're perfect." I answered.

"I'm so happy for you two." Meghan said.

"Thank you, we're very excited and Christian is still confused. He thinks I'm just fat." I said.

"You're not fat." Demarco said.

"I know." I said.

"Do you guys know what you're having?" Harry asked.

"No, we find out tomorrow." Demarco answered.

"So are you two looking to find out the sex today?" the doctor asked politely.

"Yes, we are." Cèline answered.

"Alright then. Can you lay down for me?" she asked nicely.

Cèline did as she was told and shifted around on the uncomfortable exam table.

"Now pull up your shirt and unbutton you pants please," the doctor instructed.

The doctor squeezed some cold gel on Cèline's tummy and she jumped.

"Sorry, okay, I'm just going to take a look around make sure everything looks good, then we'll see if we can tell the gender." The doctor explained.

She took her machine and moved it around Cèline's lower abdomen. Cèline and Demarco watched the screen closely as their baby came into view.

"The baby is big." Demarco said.

"The baby is the size of a banana." The doctor said.

Cèline looked at Demarco in shock. He smiled at her surprise and gave her hand a squeeze. Cèline stared at the little baby on the screen. She was in love with it.

"I'm fairly certain...okay. Congratulations, Demarco and Cèline, you're having a girl." The doctor said.

Cèline's heart stopped. She knew it. Her feeling had been correct all along. She was going to have a daughter.

"We're having a girl!" Demarco proclaimed. Cèline could tell he was beside himself with excitement.

"I'll leave you two alone. Here's some pictures I printed," the doctor said, handing them to Cèline.

"That's our daughter, Demarco." Cèline said quietly, holding up the sonogram pictures. She couldn't help but tear up.

He helped Cèline into a sitting position and handed her a tissue to wipe the gel off her belly. Cèline buttoned her pants and hopped off the table.

Norland's blooming Queen Cèline shows off a new shorter hairstyle - and a growing bump - as she enjoys a royal concert

Queen Cèline of Norland detracted the paparazzi away from her growing bump - her second child with husband King Demarco of Norland is due in June - by showing off a shorter hairstyle.

The blonde beauty, arrived arm in arm with Demarco to attend the annual royal concert in Peran.

Wearing a knee-length Tiffany Rose pink lace dress, which showed off her blooming figure, Cèline teamed the look with a jacket, black tights and suede shoes with a kitten heel.

Pregnancy certainly seems to be suiting Queen Cèline, who has cut her long hair into a more mid-length layered style. Her glossy locks perfectly complimented the elegant empire-waist dress.
