"So how was it?" mom asked me before I even walked it the door.

"How was what?" I said playing dumb.

"The date."

"I wasn't on a date, there for I cannot answer your question."

"Quit being smart and answer."

"The tutoring session that you are confusing with a date was fine." I said pulling off my sweater.

"So give me details." Mom said dragging me into the kitchen.

"She tutored me, than we both left."

"You must have done something else other than school work."

"You know at times I think you confuse me for a daughter."

"Actully according to your ultrasound you are a girl."

"WHAT!" I said shocked.

"It wasn't a very clear picture, no one could pick out your..." she stopped realizing what she was about to say.

"What was my name suppose to be?"

"Gabrielle."

"We'll that explains Gabriel."

"Still, tell me about her."

"About who?"

"About Martha Washington." she said sarcastically. "Who do you think?"

"We'll Martha Washington was the very first, First Lady."

"Aiden, tell me about Aiden."

"What do you want to know about her?"

"Is she pretty?"

"Mom." I whined.

"It's a simple question, I don't want ugly grand kids."

"MOM!"

"Answer me."

"Fine, yes she is pretty."

"Oooooo."

"Ugh, you're so weird."

"I know, keep going."

"What else do you want to know?"

"Just tell me what she is like."

"Mom we didn't talk or anything we just studied." okay it's a small lie but oh well.

"You must have noticed something."

"She is shy, and she is part French." I said. "that's it."

"Fine, but next time have her come over here." mom said opening the fridge." I want to meet my future daughter in law."

"We are not dating."

"Not yet, but you better bring her here."

"Urgh, fine, but you better not bring up the future grand kids thing."

"Fine." She said pulling out a cupcake, wait when did we get cupcakes? "I can't wait to update this kitchen."

"I don't see what's wrong with it." I mean yeah it was small but mom wasn't a big cook anyway.

"I don't like the countertops and it's so closed off from the dining room."

"You watch to many design shows."

"Maybe you watch to many crime shows."

"I only watch criminal minds, all the others are just stupid."
