Bonus Chapter 2

It had been some time since Zebra and i got married, the days have just passed by in a blur especially for me since i'm more focused on the changes i've noticed happening to me, like morning sickness, not out right vomiting but nausea and cravings also mood changes.

At first i didn't think much of them but as we move on to the third week in a row these conditions have been happening to me i've begun to suspect something else, and after a visit to the doctor my suspicions were confirmed, i was pregnant.

I decided to keep it secret at least for a while, i have no doubt Zebra will hear the heartbeat once it starts beating that is, then at six weeks as i was cooking lunch for Zebra he suddenly walked over to me "What?"i asked looking up at him, he didn't say anything just pulled me closer trapping me in his arms as he knelt down and pressed his ear against my stomach.

"Erm what are you doing?"i asked "I can hear it"he said, i knew what he referred to and just smiled putting my hand in his hair "Yeah? What does it sound like?"i asked "It's a heartbeat, it's so tiny yet it beats so strongly"he said tightening his hold on me and looked up at me "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"he asked, he didn't like it when i kept secrets and honestly i didn't like keeping secrets either but this one i wanted to surprise him with.

I smiled "I wanted to surprise you"i said "Well you certainly did that"Zebra said getting back up "So how do you feel about it? Becoming a father?"i asked even though i knew he probably wouldn't say how he actually felt, Zebra huffed turning away "Don't get cocky"he said and i giggled a bit "Alright i won't"i smiled.

(A/N: this turned out to be super short but who cares i've had this idea for a while and i couldn't find a place to put it in the overall story so bonus chapter! anyway i have just one more idea i'm gonna write a bonus chapter on, then i'll watch season 11 of Doctor Who before getting to work on my Inuyasha book)
