Jackson and Farrah hurried into the kitchen, through the back door. Jackson was holding a box with an injured bird inside.
"Guys, you won't believe what just happened." Jackson cried
Dj looked confused by the box in Jackson's hand, and came closer to inspect what was inside
"A bird flew into the window and he dropped right at our feet." Farrah continued, rushing the the point of the story
"We thought he was dead, but then I heard this little, cheepwhich I'm pretty sure is bird for, help me. So, here Mom." Jackson finished, handing her the box
"Cheep, cheep." Farrah added, worried for the little bird
"Ok. Let Dr. Fuller have a look-see." Dj said, "Doesn't look like anything is broken. I think he was just stunned. I'm so proud of you two for finding a shoe box and helping him."
"What a cute little fella." Kimmy smiled, pulling the box towards her, "I'm gonna name you Jasper, and train you to sit on my shoulder. And we'll go everywhere together, and tell each other secrets, and be best friends for ever."
They all stared at her for a moment, before the bird flew out of the box and right through the back door.
"Darn it. I came on too strong again, didn't I?" Kimmy asked
"Jackson, I love that you rescued that little guy." Dj said
"Me too." Farrah said, smiling at him, which made Dj smirk
"You know, that's the kind of thing I did when I was your age. Now I'm one of San Francisco's hottest vets." Dj continued
"Hot like popular, or hot like attractive?" Farrah lightly joked
"Yes." Dj said, making the blonde girl furrow her brows in confusion, "Why don't you two come to the pet clinic with me after summer school today? You could be my assistant. You could see how we do things. Who knows? Maybe animal care is in your blood."
"Okay." Farrah accepted
"Sure, Mom. I've always had a special connection with animals. Right, Cosmo?" Jackson asked, leaning down to look at Cosmo, who quickly ran out the door
"Wow, even the dog doesn't like you." Farrah laughed, causing him to glare at her
"Heh." Jackson said to Dj, as he followed Farrah into the living room

Once Dj, picked the two kids up from summer school, they headed to her clinic. She gave them scrubs to put over their clothes, while she went to set up her office
After putting hers on, Farrah turned to find Jackson struggling to get them over his head.
