Thinking about you brings me sorrow and joy
Because sometimes you play around with me as if I were a toy.
When will you learn that me and you don't mix?
We try so hard only to realize that there's nothing we can fix.
Friends from the start and friends we will remain.
I refuse to contribute to anyone's misery, sorrow or pain.
And, just because I don't say I love you doesn't mean I do not feel
The way you do for me and the things you do
That keeps me going on the right path, but not to you.
