No one can ever be expected to feel or understand
Another's pain.
In any instance, who could blame them?
Not one soul is exempt from tribulations.
Life is a trial!
And, you are judged at the bittersweet end.
We play pretend
For as long as we breathe.
Take cautious heed
To the warning signs of death.
With every borrowed breath,
It draws ever closer and closer.
Moreover, the layover isn't very long.
There's no delay to the gripping end
Of each melodic song.
Yet, each and every soul longs
To exist forever, in a sense.
To become an immortal.
A priceless treasure feigning innocence.
Passed among a myriad of generations
Until the finale of time's existence.
Humanity's persistence...
It is so divine.
A shrine of hope for invaluable life,
Even with doomed fate intertwined
Right from the very beginning.
It is always utterly imminent.
