What happens to a person when they're in love?
Do they wither away with hope
Like an orphan hoping to be chosen?
Or stick around and follow you for a day or two ----
And then run?
Does love stink like tainted meat?
Or get moldy and filmy all over ----
Like an old loaf of bread?
Maybe it just goes away
Like a cold.
Or does it dissolve away like rejection?
