I try not to cry every day as I pray

For a better life.

My children deserve the best of me,

To successfully become the very best of themselves.

The ugly, cracking cocoon shell

Houses a brilliant light that is me

Never to be dulled, destroyed or diminished.

It will forever continue to increase in intensity.

The growth in density will never completely finish.

Found in the harrowing lightless trenches

In the fathoms of the deep blackness in the cosmos.

An elite specimen of anomalous measures.

A priceless treasure.

Hardened by the immense pressure

To endure the destined journey that

I was created for.

There's always more when one thinks there's less

To be blessed is to lack stress

It was never about achieving success.

That will leave one pressed to impress.

I digress.

I am still learning who I am.

Second by minute, ounce by gram.

I'm a lamb of God.

It's no facade.

Always be mindful that God

Protects his children by any means.

It's in His will when, where, how, and why

We fulfill our dreams.

Stay humble and serene.

Wait for your turn.

Celebrate every win.

Appreciate the chance to

Live and learn.
