Chapter Twenty

Okay my lovely readers, we have some rules to go over for the dedication questions so that way it's fair for everyone and everyone gets a chance at getting dedications.

1.) You can only answer the question correctly every three chapters.

     

       Ex. If you get Chapter 20's question right, you can't answer again until Chapter 23.

2.) I will update within 3 days of someone answering the question right.

            I am in college so I have to make that my first priority.

 In the previous chapter...

Me: We should hang out after this?

Nadia: And do what? If you haven't noticed, you have three broken ribs.

Me: We could watch a movie together?

Nadia: You'll be on bed rest.

Me: Then you can drive me back to my house and we can cuddle and watch movies.

Nadia: You do realize that I'm still in heat right?

Me: I can control myself, I think.

Nadia: Alright, let's do it.

Those words make my body tense and all of my thoughts become perverted.

Nadia: I mean the cuddling and movie.

My body relaxes at her words, but that doesn't stop the disappointment that runs through me.

Doctor: Tegan, it's time to get wrapped up.

Chapter Twenty

I'm standing there while holding Nadia in my arms, just appreciating having her near me. Her heat is now over, and no, we didn't mate.

I feel her hands against my chest and she pushes me away. When she looks up at me, worry fills me. Her face looks very stressed and sad. This can't be good.

Nadia: I'm sorry.

I tilt my head as if to ask her what she means but I get my answer.

Nadia: I, Nadia, reject you, Tegan, as my mate.
