RK800//Connor x Reader

T W E N T Y S I X

You were alone at the moment in your hospital room and were waiting to finally go home, you took off your hospital gown; carefully moving your arm so that you didn't feel too sharp of a pain in your shoulder. You looked at the fresh and deep scarring on your shoulder blade, you frowned and then looked down to your stomach. The scar there wasn't as bad; it would surely heal. You sighed and pulled on the clothes you had Connor bring you since the clothes you arrived in were bloodied and had holes and slashes in the fabric. You heard a soft knock on your door and you finished getting dressed before letting the person know they can come in. Connor comes in, he looks at you

"Are you okay..? Are you sure you should go home today?"

"Yeah, why you don't think I should?" you slid your shoes on

"I'm sure you're fine. I just want to be sure."

"Well I'm fine.." you felt the android approach you from behind and you turned to look up at him, you weakly smiled.

"C-Can I see?" he cautiously asked

you nodded pulled your shirt down, slipping it off your shoulder to reveal the scarring. His hand reached up to softly graze his soft finger tips over the damaged skin. You weakly smiled before letting a frown show,
"I just wanna go home..." you whispered, letting your head drop

He sighed and put his hand behind your neck to push your head onto his shoulder, you wrapped your arms around him tightly. He returned this and you felt your heart beat quicker as a sense of comfort washed over you. You both stood into each others' arms and everything was silent and peaceful until you were interrupted,

"Miss Y/L/N?" the doctor cautiously opened the door that was previously cracked, "Sorry if i'm intruding..."

You quickly broke away from Connor and shook your head, "You're not!"

"Well I just want you to know that everything came back fine and that you're good to go, just please be careful with that arm. If you feel continuous pain in your neck or if you have trouble swallowing after about a week please come back in." 

"Yes ma'am, I'll do that." 

"Well then, you're free to go." she smiled at you before exiting the room

You began to leave the room and Connor followed. Once outside you climbed into the backseat and you were a bit surprised when Connor got in with you. Hank smiled at you two in the rearview mirror,

"Buckle up kids." he grinned before pulling out onto the road.

You both did as he said. You watch as the raindrops slowly rolled down the opposite side of your window. This whole week was a wreck but you were glad that for once everything felt right...even if your mind kept lingering onto the traumatic accident. Connor stared at you as you looked in the opposite direction and you felt something touch your hand; your head snapped into his direction before you weakly smiled. He squeezed your hand softly as you let your head fall down onto his shoulder. This was maybe the happiest the android had ever felt and he could swear that he felt the thirium pumping to his biocomponets much quicker. Hank looked into the rearview mirror at the two of you, a smile on his face as he saw how lit up his android son was. Finally you guys got back to Connor and Hank's home. You lifted your head up; a bit confused since you thought you'd be going to your apartment.

"We thought it'd be better if you stayed with us for a couple of days...or however long you need. I know you tend to have vivid nightmares after certain incidents, I hope it's okay with you."

"Yea...thanks for thinking about me Connor."

he smiled,
"I...always do." he got out the car and helped you slip out on his side of the car.

You both followed Hank up to the porch and into the house. Sumo got up from where he was laying and his tail began to wag at the sight of you. You flopped down on the couch and let the large dog climb onto your lap. He seemed so happy which made you smile.

"Uh...you want some coffee or I could even make some tea for you?" Hank hung up his coat

You nodded and asked for the one you preferred of the two.
"I'll get you a change of clothes...I have some pajamas you can wear, they may be a bit large for you ,but--"

"It's fine Connor, thanks...I really appreciate it." you smiled as you petted the dog spread across your lap

"It's not a problem at all..." he headed down to his room

You sighed, you really had to figure out your feelings. You cared about Gavin greatly and he was sweet to you but you really had feelings for Connor, you had for a long while but you just never thought it could happen; an android and a human was just a relationship you didn't think was possible to begin with. You loved the way he smiled at you, the way he talked, the way he'd look at you was even something that made your chest tighten. You were in denial before and you didn't recognize that feeling completly but now you did, it scared you but at the same time it was the best feeling in the world. You were snapped from your thoughts when Hank entered the room with a steaming mug, sitting it on the coffee table in front of you. You smiled and thanked him quickly, you moved Sumo just a bit so that you could reach it. He sat in his lounge chair and took a sip of the beer he had in hand before he switched on the tv and began to flip through the channels.

Connor entered and to your surprise he had changed into something more casual, you smiled,
"I'm still not used to that..." You laughed quietly 

"Sorry,I could change if--"

"No. It looks good on you." You took a sip of your beverage

"I left the pajamas in the bathroom, just in case you'd like to shower first."

"Thankyou." You watched the android as he sat on the other side of Sumo, the dog now in the middle of you two. Connor quietly looked at you as you wrapped your hands around the mug to keep yourself warm, watching close as your eyes became glued onto the tv. He heard you say something about the show being your favorite and Hank say it was his too.

After the show had gone off, Connor gave you some towels to use before you went into the bathroom. You made sure the shower was warm enough before stripping and getting in, you tensed at first at the hot water and the sting of it against your wounds but you soon adjusted. Once you washed your aching body you changed into the clothes the android had left for you, you found it kind of silly that you'd have to wear his boxers but you didn't mind. You slipped on the oversized shirt and pajama pants before leaving the bathroom. Putting your dirty clothes in Connor's room. A knock was heard at the door before you yelled for him to come in,
"I'm just checking in on you before I go to the couch..."

You looked at him;confused,
"You're not sleeping in here? It's not like we've never shared a bed." you quietly laughed as you climbed into his bed

"I didn't think you'd want me to...or be okay with it." he quietly mumbled

"That's silly, of course I'd be fine with it.."

"Alright.." he came to the bed and you scooted closer to the wall the bed was pushed against to make room. He carefully laid down next to you, his body stiff. You laughed at this before you wrapped yourself around him, your head and one of your hands resting on his chest. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around you, at first loosely but soon he was holding you tight. You closed your eyes and let yourself fall asleep in his arms.
