You drew in a long breath, the breeze from the wind drawing goosebumps up from under your skin. Slowly you let yourself exhale, the warm and freshly rosen sunlight  danced over your skin. Your eyes shut and your hands reached up as you pushed your hair back, letting them wash down the texture and down the back of your neck. Your lip drew up between your teeth as you chewed at it, everything fell even more silent than it already was. Your hands quickly dropped when you felt something touch your shoulder, you sinked under the touch but quickly smiled up at the face before you,
"Connor..." you whispered, you watched the mug that was in his free hand as it steamed. He leaned down to sit beside you on the cool concrete of the porch.

"This is for you." he handed you the warm mug and you happily wrapped your cold hands around it

"Thankyou." You took a quick and careful sip, letting the warmth build up in your chest as it spread throughout you

"What are you doing out here? It's eight in the morning."

"Just...wanted to clear my head, I needed some space."

"Sorry if I've been smothering you ever since--"

"You haven't! It's just, everytime I look at you all I feel is..guilt. You have to stay here with me to make sure I don't do anything stupid."

"I don't mind, I enjoy every moment with you. Even though you have been distancing yourself lately.." he looked foward, away from you.

"I'm sorry." you returned your lip between your teeth

"It's okay, I just want to know where you go.."

"Where I go? What do you mean, I'm always by your side?" you looked at him; confusedly

"I mean that you always look like your mind is somewhere different."

"Oh, every since I've started seeing that therapist I've just been more in my head I guess. I'm usually thinking about if I did slip away that night, I mean when that guy attacked me--I would have left nothing behind, no trace of my existing.  No family to miss me--"

"Y/n, Hank and I would have missed you.."

"I-I know. I'm sorry. I just wish I had more to my life sometimes, I just feel like a complete nobody." you sighed

Connor leaned into you,his soft lips grazed against your cheek before he made contact with the skin,
"I'm sorry."

"Don't be, I'm glad I have you and Hank. It's just I wish I knew where I came from, you know? Besides a dusty old orphanage because nobody wants me."

"Are you saying that you want to know who your parents are?"

"Yeah, I guess I do. I always have, even if they probably don't care and have moved on." you took a deep breath

"I-I could help with that," he stared at your face as his LED blinked;it remained blue, "I don't believe you should meet them until you're better, but I won't stop you."

"You could do that?! I--well...that'd be great. I agree with you completely, I should wait." you both fall silent for a moment before you shrink at the cool breeze

"Y/n, you should get back inside. It's pretty cold out here and you're still in your pajamas."

You looked down at the oversized shirt along with Connor's boxers that fit you like shorts, you sighed and nodded.

He grabbed your hand tightly and stood up with you. You took a long drink of the warm beverage as you both headed inside,
"You're so good to me, Connor." you smiled slightly

"You deserve it,Y/n." he smiled at you gently, he pulled the cup from your hand to put it on the coffee table before he pulled you into his arms. You smiled wider, gripping him tight before you move toward; causing him to stumble backward to the couch. He falls down onto the sofa with you in his arms, you laugh quietly as you bury your face into his neck. He quietly chuckles at how eager you are to him tightly, you bring yourself up to look at him. Your eyes connect with his and this large small on his face slowly drops as yours does, you feel the organ in chest beat quickly as you feel tears push their way out of your eyes

You hesitate, "I-I love you..."

He quickly sat up as the tears fell from your eyes and his LED spun yellow, "I-I love you too! Why are you crying?!" he unwrapped his arms from around you; afraid that maybe he held you too tightly

"I don't know... I'm just happy I guess. I'm happy that you love me, I-I hope you'll never stop." you weakly smiled before putting your face against his chest

"I could never stop loving you." he kissed the top of your head quickly

"I think he already knows--bu-but I still have to talk to Gavin about this."

"I know..." he wrapped one arm around you as the other reached up into your hair, his fingertips traced the strands of hair

"I should probably go take my medicine  since I'm up.." you sighed in annoyance

"I suppose so." he replied before you pushed yourself off of him, he got up and headed out the room. Hank and Connor kept all medications away from you, not that they didn't trust you; if they didn't you wouldn't blame them. You didn't even trust yourself, instead they just wanted to make sure you weren't triggered again. Even though Connor's eyes never left you it was nice to be sure. The android returned to the room to bring the medication to you, you took it along with a sip of your drink. You both return to the couch again and you turn on the tv, it became sort of routine for you both to cuddle on the couch as you watched tv. Connor could care less about the show that played, all he cared about was having you close to him. His arms held you close, at first he didn't understand the concept of cuddling close to you; but once you were in his arms he'd never wish for anything else. He swore that everytime he'd hold you that his thirium rushed to his biocomponets quicker than they ever had.
