It's Not Just About You

Chapter 5

Addy and I stand there as he calms me down. I tend to freak out just thinking about it. I can't bring myself to talk about any of it. I freak out a lot.

"You alright?" Amy ask putting her hand on my back. I flinch away pressing myself closer to Addy.

"Amy." he scolds her.

"Sorry Tor."

"What's wrong with her?" I hear him ask. Almost like he is concerned.

"Why? You don't care." Addy growls at him.

"Your right I don't. She's still the weak pathetic girl she always has been." he growls.

"Thanks to you." Amy growls.

"Addy." I whisper.

"Yeah."

"Can we go in now?" I ask him.

"Yeah I have to put you down though." he tells me. I nod an okay letting go. He sets me on my feet walking off. I stand there with my head down waiting for him to do whatever he has to do. "Sorry. I had to get your bag." he tells me walking back.

"Oh. Thanks." I say taking it from him.

"No problem Tor." he says taking my hand dragging me with him. He leads me up the steps as we do he growls at me.

"Cheating whore." he growls making Addy stop.

"I know." I whisper keeping my head down. I wasn't going to deny it. I am a whore.

"She didn't...." Addy growls

"Adrian." Amy yells cutting him off. Addy sighs nodding and starts walking off pulling me behind him.

We walk into the living room sitting down on the couch. I sit playing with Addy's fingers sitting beside him. I don't know where everybody else went.

"You okay?" Addy ask. I just nod. I don't know how long we sat there in silence.

"VICTORIA IS THAT TRUE!" Chris roars. I jump up from the couch petrified and panicking. I turn around and see him stalking towards me. I freak and start taking steps back. I couldn't think. "Is. It. True?" he ask seethes gritting his teeth together. I look around for help in tears and see Matt running down the stairs.

"Dad what's going on?" Vincent ask trying to pull his dad back. I feel myself hitting the wall. I slide down the wall covering my head crying. I hate being yelled at.

"Nothing for you to worry about." Matt growls at Vincent. I flinch.

"Tori it's okay no ones going to hurt you." I hear Addy say.

"Chris calm down." I hear Matt say. I have my head buried in between my knees with my arms covering my head.

"Tor." Addy says putting his hands on my shoulder. "Calm down. Breathe. In and out slowly. In and out." he coos. I do as he says breathing in and out slowly. I can still hear Chris snarling and growling trying to calm down. I didn't mean to make him mad. He wasn't suppose to get mad.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you mad. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please don't be mad at me. I'm sorry." I whispers rocking back and fourth.

"Tori you have nothing to be sorry for. It's not your fault." Addy says picking me up and putting me in his lap.

"It is Addy." I protest uncovering my head. I look up at him. "I made him mad. I shouldn't of made him mad. Now." I gulp. "Now I'm going to punished." I whisper.

"Whoa whoa." Chris says kneeling next to us. He puts his hand on my knee and I flinch back burying myself into and Addy burying my face in his neck.

"Stop." Addy growls at him. "Don't touch her. She doesn't like it." he tells Chris. Chris jerks his hand back quickly.

"I'm sorry Victoria. I'm not mad at you. I'm mad about what happen. Is it all true?" I hate that name please stop using it.

"Of course it's true!" Addy yells at him. I flinch closing my eyes. "You think she'd lie about something like that!?"

"Adrian but out." Matt scolds him. "Chris needs to here it from her." he finishes.

"Victoria." Chris says gently. "Look at me please." he finishes. I shake my head no not wanting to look at him or anyone else.

"Tor look at him." Addy encourages me. "You need to let him know." I nod removing my head. I look at Chris.

"Is it true?" he ask me softly.

"Yes." I whisper.

"You know who did it?" he ask. I look around. Why is he asking me this? I don't know who.

"Tor it's alright." Addy says rubbing my back. "No one will touch you." I lean up getting close to his ear.

"Big men." I whisper to him alone. He leans back looking at me. I hate that look of pity and sympathy.

"That's all you know?" he ask. I just nod a yes. "I'm so sorry Victoria." I just nod again not knowing what to say. Why is he sorry? He didn't do anything. He nods standing up. "Is all of it true?" I nod again. He nods turning on his heels.

"Dad what's going on?" Vincent ask again.

"Nothing of your concern." Chris growl at him as he passes him. I look up at Vince and he glares at me. I flinch back from the cold stare. Then he turns on his heels walking away. I slump against Addy.

"You did good." Addy says. I nod again.

I see Matt and Chris talking in hush tones probably about me. Addy, Amy and I sit there for a little bit. I don't know when she came over.

"You okay?" Amy ask after a while. I just nod. She sighs heavily.

"PACK MEETING!" Chris booms. Of course I flinch back closing my eyes.

"It's okay." Addy whispers. I nod as he lifts me up. He takes us back to the couch sitting us down. We wait as everyone comes in. I sit on Addy's lap playing with his fingers. I always do that. I don't know why but every time I'm in his lap or he is holding my hand I always play with his fingers.

"QUIET!" Chris booms. I flinch again. I hate that. But I look up anyway. "First I'd like to welcome our new pack members. I want you to welcome them as well. We don't know how long this will last but in the mean time I do not want any conflict. Is that understood?" he says using his alpha tone talking to his pack.

"Yes alpha." they all choir making me jump.

"Second. No one and I mean no one in any circumstances from my pack is to go anywhere near Victoria Grey. AM I UNDERSTOOD?" he booms at the end. I flinch. Someone scuffs.

"What makes her so special." she says. I know that voice. It's Nicole's. Chris growls at her.

"Because..." he starts but Matt cuts him off.

"Chris." he says. Chris sighs nodding.

"Because I said so!" he growls at her. "I mean it. If she gets any harassment you will be punished. AM I UNDERSTOOD?!"

"Yes alpha." they choir. He nods an okay.

"Good now introduce yourselves. Get along. Make new friends. Meeting dismissed." he says. Him and Matt walk away and slump back into Addy.
