The weekend that he had spend in London had been amazing but wasn't close to as amazing as this trip would be. Freaking coachella and recording in the studio sounded pretty good in my ears. And the flight here had been pretty okay too. I had left Piper at home with my parents because I would be in the studio a lot and 3 days at Coachella so it was best for her to stay. But I think I was exhausted enough before the flight, that I just slept all through the 14 hours of being in the air.
I had gotten a reasonable time at the Brighton Marathon 10k yesterday which I was very proud of and was able to hand them a very nice donation for cancer research. It was amazing to see their faces when they saw the final donation of £11.470 after all the events people around me organised, the small show I played and the much bigger event the church played at. Everyone had helped me out to make this donation, including the fans who had been streaming my song almost non stop.
And when I handed over that money yesterday, I knew recording the song was damn good thing.
But as I walked out of the plane, my stress level definitely went up. It was around 1pm now and it was pretty damn crowded. Ashton would be waiting for me at the parking lot as he knew it would be a lot more crowded then when I last came.
So I went to get my luggage as fast as possible and headed down to the parking lot with only one girl half screaming 'oh my god that's sam'
Goodbye secret arrival and trying to stay under the radar untill after coachella. I had to be here for the recordings anyway so I had a good excuse, but going to Coachella with just Ashton, Michael and Crystal and a few of her friends, might not be that good of an excuse.
I waited in the elevator with the biggest smile on my face. And when they opened I headed straight to the spot he described. He was leaning against his car, sunglasses and beanie on and looking down at his phone screen. He was tapping his feet on the ground nervously.
"Hey stranger." I said as I stood 5 meters away from him. His head shot up and the biggest smile came on his face.
"The prettiest stranger I know." He said, he put his phone away and walked over to meet me halfway. I stepped into his arms and let go of my suitcases, hugging him thightly. "Fuck I missed you."
"It's only been 2 weeks silly." I said with a smile as I looked at him.
"You send me 100 texts a day but you didn't miss me because it was only two weeks?"
"No I thought it was pretty obvious that I miss you a little more every day." He kissed my forehead before letting me go and picking up my bags. "So are you awake enough to start our Coachella weekend in a couple of hours?"
"Definitely. I slept all through the flight so I'm ready to start the party." He laughed at my enthousiasm but I was really just excited.
"You're adorable." He put my bags in the trunk of his car and I almost went to the wrong side of the car but reminded myself just in time that they drive on the right side of the road here. "I am all packed already, I don't know how much of repaking you have to do?"
"The smaller bag is for this weekend so we could spend our time before leaving again as good as possible."
"Are you saying we should have 'welcome in LA' sex?" He asked with a grin and I turned tomato red within a second.
"Not entirely but that does sound good."
"It was so fucking hard to resist kissing you when I saw you."
"Not long anymore" I replied with a smile.
"Just 3 more months." He said with a sigh. He wanted to scream it off the rooftops and so did I somewhere deep inside but we had made a deal.
