Reaching her house a tear dazed Christine walked into her room, removing the T-shirt she had worn in a hurry -- her eyes ran down her body as she looked at herself in the full body mirror embedded into the wall close to her bed, wiping away the blood on her jaw and chest she collapsed on the floor with only her bra and the trouser she wore on, tossing the shirt across the room.

On the other hand, Bryan had just gotten into the company's building when he switched on his cellphone. Hurriedly he pressed the elevators door, knowing he was about to lose his job, hell he was afraid of what would happen to him if he opened the doors while Christine was in a meeting.

Upon stepping his foot on Christine's office floor, his eyes immediately landed on Rebecca who rose to her feet with her eye lashes fanned together, "you're late!" She chanted adjusting her skirt amicably around her waist.

"I know that! Is Christine still in a meeting or is she in her office?" He asked coming to a stop in front of Rebecca's desk whose eyes kept flapping as she couldn't wait to give him the latest gist fisting her insides.

"No, did you know that our boss had a twin? And Delius was here today I..."

"Rebecca!!" He shouted at her angrily as he wasn't in the mood for discussions, he had come to work so he could ask for the day off and to ask Christine for a raise or to increase his salary either one would benefit him for the time being.

Even though he knew Christine had increased his salary for the year and he had never asked her for a raise before so he was really skeptical about her standing on the issue, but this time, it was a life and death issue plus his mother's life is much more valuable than his pride.

"Is Christine in or not?"

"No, she left so she could mourn the death of her twin sister," Rebecca voiced gently, noticing the difference in Bryan's attitude, as he had bags under his eyes, his eyes were red and nose red as if he had spent the whole night crying or probably suffering from acute bird flu.

"What? Where could she had gone to?" He asked as Rebecca came out behind her chair, resting her arm underneath her medium sized female fruits, she looked at Bryan's face thoughtfully wanting to make sure he was fine, she moved closer so she could hug him.

"I think you should call her first and you should probably check your msg or email because she sent you instructions on what you had to do today." She said pulling back a strand of her hair behind her ear, as she lets go of him.

Bryan grabbed his phone, and groaned loudly at the work he had to do and meetings he had missed, then he scoffed loudly brushing his hair furiously, "why should I submit all this work by 11:30am?"

The poor thing asked Rebecca who shrugged getting back to her work, jotting his legs childishly he decided to call Christine who had forgotten her cellphone on her car seat as it blared communally as both the doctor and Bryan tried to get hold of her.

But Christine was in a more emotional state as she stared at the cardboard box she had kept hidden from the world, all her pictures with her twin and the memories they had shared together in the whole 27 years of their existence were all placed in the box.

Her emotions were edging close to the roof when she let out an aggravated sigh accompanied by hot beams of tears, exposing her to the world to see as she sat on her legs with the picture of her twin forcing her to take a picture in hand, while the memory swam painfully in her mind everything felt so dreamy to her.
