"What does he mean by that," Delius asked still staring through the darkness emulating through the broken door with his thumb curved towards the direction before turning back to find Christine already staring at him, "what was that about?" He asked with his heart skipping a bit but he maintained his seriousness as he noticed her beauty on a more profound level.

There was just something different about the way she looked at him, something absolutely new to him that makes his back sweaty and breathe catch making his mouth dry like a vacuum was placed in it, "We agreed that I'll be his Queen while married to you," she said and he pulled away from her, "in exchange he will not bring up the fact that he his my mate."

She said in a smoky voice that made his eyebrows crunch together in both anger and confusion which probably prompted Wesley backing away from them as both their auras radiate astonishingly.

"If you're going to be my wife that also means taking up the responsibility of becoming my Luna, how on earth will you find time to be his Queen while you're meant to be my Queen only?" He shouted at her as he was beyond pissed with the fact that she agreed to such profanities.

"You don't understand," she breaths scratching her head as she felt her body slum tiredly, she bite her bottom lip out of anxiety and tiredness as a slow frown slowly forms on her face, she could seriously feel the changes her was going through like a blast on the face.

"Why don't you make me understand? Tell me everything... I want to know you, the real you, because I don't think or doubt the fact that I wouldn't continue loving you even with the slightly chance of you turning out to be worse than I imagined."

He said stepping up to her, he grabbed her waist closer to him as he searched her eyes for answers, she sighed looking down at his arm around her waist before proceeding up to meet his hazel eyes, "when I signed the contract I had a deal with Calumet's father that if his son was to raise his hands on me the contract would be abolished and I'll be free from any intimate responsibilities," she suddenly heaves out an exhausted breathe when Delius tightened his hold on her sending chills up her spine, she leaned into him taking a whiff of his scent before proceeding.

"But that still makes me a princess because the deal wasn't just the contract it was a blood oath and if I were to die so does Calumet, the connection between me and him is much more deeper than you can ever imagine. Apart from the fact that he was my first love the only reason he his really able to control his lycan is because of my blood in him,"

"Hence I'm the only woman that can make him king, it doesn't matter if the contract exists or not. He needs me more than you do, and I know I don't know much about him and shouldn't forgive him so easily but I guess the connection is deeper than I'd imagined."

She looked bravely at his eyes knowing how close they were so she exhaled his scent deeply she gritted her teeth at how excited it made her feel, "that's why I didn't want anything to do with you in the first place, because there was no getting ride of Calumet."

"You mean when he almost killed you he knew the consequence of your death to him? And why would you want to settle for him when I make you happy?"

They both stood beside her couch while the police officers stood in the group they came in, glancing at them while talking their own businesses, "I didn't settle for him, he already has me but I want to give us another try if you'll let us."

"I think if he already has you then its best for him to keep you, we already have a daughter...I don't think I'm capable of tearing you away from the love of your life." He said avoiding her gaze as he looked up at the ceiling he had damaged, "you've always wanted to be away from me, I'm done fighting for a woman that doesn't know what she wants." He looked down at her shocked eyes almost feeling bad for what he had just said.
