Chapter 5: Inseparable Friends!

        "Breath... should I take a deep?" Ruby is shown sitting alone on the clock tower as she stares out at the sunset. "Faith... should I take the leap?" Roxas is shown in his organization thirteen cloak with the hood up. "Taste... what a bittersweet!" The two are shown walking the opposite direction of one another before they are shown looking at one another from over their shoulders. "All my, all my life!" Axel is shown walking over to Roxas and putting his arm around his neck and pulls him away. "Let me face!" Ruby is shown looking away as she stood alone. "Let me face!" Light flashes and Ruby is shown running from Nobodies that suddenly attack. "Let me face my fears!" Roxas is shown looking down sadly as he was forced to follow orders. "Let me face! Let me face! Let me face my fears!" Light flashes and Ruby is shown laughing as she sits next to Roxas as the two talk. "Won't be long!" Light flashes and Ruby is shown standing with shock on her face as Roxas is shown standing in front of her. "Won't be long!" Light flashes and Ruby is shown crying as she stood alone. "I'm almost here!" Light flashes as Sora and Roxas are shown on separate screens before Roxas is shown fading away and Sora is shown alone. "Watch me cry all my tears!" Ruby is staring at the sky as it looked like doves fly around her. "Let me face!" Light flashes as Ruby is shown floating back as she reached up. "Let me face!" Roxas, Ruby, Xion and Axel are shown laughing together as Ruby and Roxas sat beside one another. "Let me face my fears!" Music continues to play as Ruby and Roxas are shown reuniting before Ruby is shown sitting alone as she stares at out the sky and the title is shown above her.

The four were once again together on the clock tower. Ruby was talking about her day at school while Roxas was talking about his and Xion's mission.

"So best friends are different from plain friends, right?" Xion asks.

"Hmm... I suppose so." Ruby says.

"They are about the same." Axel says.

"Best friends... huh." Roxas says.

"But I'd say best friends are a notch above just plain friends." Axel says.

"So how are they different?" Roxas asks.

"I don't know. I couldn't tell ya because I don't have any best friends." Axel says.

"Axel, is your spikey hair messing with your brain? You've got three." Ruby says.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right." Axel says.

"Really? You think of us as your best friends, Ruby?" Roxas asks.

"Well... yeah... only ever time I've had any friends... so that makes you best friends by default." Ruby says as Ruby's cheek flush a bright red as she talks.

"Stop, you're embarrassing the girl." Axel says.

"Oops, I did embarrass you again didn't I? I'm sorry." Roxas says.

"No, no, no it's fine. I'm just... I'm not used to really talking about my feelings, yet for those who claim to not being able to feel does really seem to enjoy watching me display different emotions." Ruby says.

"Okay, so maybe I do." Axel says.

"I'm not meaning to on purpose." Roxas says.

"Have I ever made you feel an emotion?" Xion asks.

"Well, you're my only female friend... so it makes me smile to be able to talk to you." Ruby says.

"Right." Xion says and the group laughs.

[Eighteen Days Later]

It'd been ninety-four days since Ruby met Roxas and Axel. Eighty-seven days since they'd officially gotten to know each other and eighty days since they officially claimed to be friends. Ruby wanted to document their friendship as she'd finally saved up enough to get a camera. She heads to the clock tower and up to their spots. She stops when she hears the group talking.
