I kept losing time. That's why team flash decided to let me sleep in the lounge of Star Labs. To watch over me. Over Silver Witch. What a stupid name...
It was currently 7am. "Hey, I brought you coffee." Barry said after he sped in here. I sat on the couch and watched him with a raised eyebrow. "Sorry." He chuckled and I smiled a small smile before I pat on the seat next to me. He handed me the to-go coffee and I sighed after I drunk a sip. "You look..." "Tired?" I cut him off and he chuckled again as he nodded. "Rough night?" He asked and I took a deep breath and brushed my left hand through my hair. "I stayed awake. I was too scared to fall asleep so that she could take over. Barry, I am scared of her." I whispered and set the coffee down on the glass table infront of us. Then he hugged me and I sighed again. "It'll be okay. We just have to keep figuring it out. Run more tests and see why she does those things when you fall asleep." I hugged him back and nodded in his shoulder. "Thank you." My voice was low. When we parted he smiled at me. "Always."
Later we were in the speed lab again and I watched Barry in awe as he ran. It must be pretty cool to be that fast. Killer Frost was by side and watched me curiously. "It's cute how we are so similiar." I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Sorry?" The only thing in common we had were our alter-egos. And not even they were similiar. "Oh, it's just that she thinks Silver Witch was always there, too. But hidden. Until something caused her to come out. She and I wants to know what it was." I thought about her words. "Wait! You wanna know, too? How is that?" I asked and she smiled. "I'm just... interested in her. Her powers are fascinating." Killer Frost answered and then her hair went from white to brown again. Her eyes and lips changed, too. "My powers are fascinating?" I asked and Caitlin shrugged. "Her words, not mine. Although she really wants for Silver Witch to become more of an ally than an enemy. She's grown to like her, I guess." She explained and I chuckled. "Oh, yeah. Silver Witch must be a delight." I said sarcastically and Caitlin smirked.
Barry stopped running and came to a halt infront of us. "You make this all look so easy. It must be quite the feeling when you're running." Barry looked at me and chuckled. "Well, it all took time and practice, believe me." I nodded and Cisco got infront of us while Caitlin now held a tablet. Cisco wore a leather jacket and some kind goggles that had blue lenses. "Cisco wants to shoot a vibe blast at you and see how you will react." Caitlin said and I sighed, then nodding at him. "Okay. Alright." I said in a low voice and I closed my eyes.
The next thing I knew was that I was thrown into something hard because Silver Witch disappeared and I took over when I was thrown into the wall. "Ah." I hissed and they immediately came towards me. But I stopped them with my hand. "Stop! Don't come any closer. I don't wanna hurt anyone." I whimpered and tried to get up. They all tried to come closer when I struggled to get up. "Zoe, you have to let us help you." Caitlin said and I shook my head. "No." I whimpered and then walked back to the cortex with them following me. Iris and Harry were in the cortex and as soon as Iris saw me she helped me walking. Iris helped me get over in Caitlin's lab and onto the bed. Caitlin still carried a tablet and constantly looked on it. "She's healing. But it will take some time." I took deep breaths and laid back. "I want her gone." I whispered. "I don't want to live like this. Not being able to sleep. Constantly worrying when I'll snap." I shook my head and closed my eyes for a second. "Zoe, you can't give up. This isn't who you are. You are strong enough to live with an alter-ego inside of you. And we are all here to help you. I promise. Don't give up." Iris said and squeezed my hand. "You can do this." Cisco whispered. "You guys really think so?" I looked up to them and they nodded. "Yes, we do." Caitlin said and smiled down at me. "You can sleep if you want. We will be here if she takes over." I frowned and sighed.

"Her feelings are strong. Especially now. Huh, she's awake." Silver Witch said and I saw through my own eyes that she was talking to Barry and Iris. In the lounge. I sat cross-legged on the couch with a blanket around my body. Or was it ours now? "She's awake?" Iris asked and confusion was written all over her face. "I've never experienced her to be so strong than right now." She said and my hair and eyes began to change back to their original color. "What did I miss?" I asked and Barry and Iris shared a look before Iris spoke. "She wants to practice. Without getting hurt or hurting someone that you consider friend. She wants for you to be safe." Iris said and I was surprised. "Huh." I hummed. "She said that your parents might be of help. Since she believes it was them who helped creating her in the first place." Caitlin walked in and watched us curiously. "Hey, what's going on?" Cait asked and I sighed. I got up and looked at her and Harry. "Maybe we aren't so different, after all." I smiled a small smile towards her and then looked down to Barry. "How fast can you get me into Iron Heights?" I asked and Barry frowned. "Your parents are in Iron Heights?" I sighed. "My dad is. I don't know where my mother is these days." I said and Barry nodded. "Alright." He said and I went to go change my clothes. Barry put on his suit and then sped us infront of the prison.
"You sure about this?" He asked and I sighed before I nodded. "Yeah." I whispered and he sped us into the facility. Over the years I visited him a few times and it was pure luck when I saw that he wasn't moved into another cell. Barry checked the cameras and luckily the hood hid my face from the cameras.
The man I barely recognized as my own father got up from the bed and watched me suprised. "Z-Zoe? Is that you?" I nodded and his deep and raspy voice still send shivers down my spine. "Hi, dad." I whispered and as he stepped closer I pulled the hood off my head. Then a smirk appeared on his lips. "So, you finally figured it out? Took you long enough." He said and I took deep breaths. "What is this?" I hissed and my eyes shined silver. "This is the cure I have been waiting for your entire life." I frowned and stepped closer. "Cure? For what exactly?" I asked. "To rid the humanity of anything weak. To make them all strong again. Zoe, you were always meant for greatness. Just like your mother." He spoke softly and I scoffed. "Mom left us because she was done with you. Because you are the worst person in the world. And I will never ever be that kind of person you want me to be." I spat. Suddenly he grabbed my arm and I heard Barry stepping closer. "Well, you say this now. But soon you will understand that this world is very cruel and that it's needing someone to lead them into a better future. You are that leader." He said and his tone was sharp. Then he let me go. "Get me out of here, Barry. I can't look at him anymore. This face is making me sick." I said as sharp as he did and in the next second I was infront of the prison again.
"Hey, are you okay?" Barry asked and I shrugged. "I don't know... I mean.. This is crazy, Barry. All of it." I said in a low voice and he nodded. "Yeah, but do you trust him and his words?" I shook my head. "Of course not. I'd be crazy, too... Hey, can we just go home now? I know it's still afternoon but I just want to sleep for a few days." I said and Barry nodded. "Of course." He answered and in the next minute we were in the West house.
"Barry..." I said and he shook his head at me. "No, you stay here and rest. You can sleep in my room if you want. I'm sure it's a lot better than the couch in the lounge in Star Labs." He said and I smiled shortly at him. "Thank you." I whispered and hugged him shortly. "Always." He whispered back and then I went upstairs.
