OUT OF TIME , barry allen✔️

4. First mission

I was humming to a song that was stuck in my head when I almost finished doing breakfast. Pancakes. It was when Joe and Barry came into the kitchen that I stopped humming. "Someone's in a good mood." Joe said and smiled down at me. "Just got up on right side of the bed I guess." I replied and put the last two pancakes on the plate. I turned the machine off and turned around to do coffee. Then I got two mugs out of the cupboard and poured the hot coffee in the two mugs. "There you go." I said and smiled at the speedster and the cop. I handed them each one the mug with the coffee in it.

"Where's Iris?" I asked and Joe spoke up, "Already at work." He said and I nodded slowly. Barry got a plate with pancakes and left the kitchen. "This is amazing!" I heard him yell not two minutes later from and chuckled. Joe's phone rang and I was silent while I poured myself a mug with coffee and then went to sit in the dinning room with Barry. "How was your night?" He asked and I smiled. "Slept like a baby. Thanks." I replied and he smiled back at me. I slowly sipped the coffee and sighed afterwards.

I was fully dressed and ready when Joe left the house. "Pancakes and coffee were amazing. Plus, you are a meta. And you beat me at probably every game we ever played. What can't you do?" He asked and I laughed while we sat down on the couch in the living room. "Probably run as fast as you." He nodded and I chuckled. "Right." He said. "Why did you never tell me?" I asked with a low voice and looked up at him again after a while. "You would have been in danger, too, and I couldn't allow it." He whispered. I was quiet after that. I didn't knew what to say. Barry and I glanced at eachother until his phone buzzed and he got up from the couch abruptly. "A meta is robbing a bank." He said and looked down at me. Then he smirked. "Wanna help?" He asked and I frowned. "Really?" I asked and rose to my feet, too. He then sped us to Star Labs and Cisco handed me a silver-ish jacket with black highlights that were going up the sleeves and fading at the ellbow part. "I thought Silver Witch would like to wear something that's fitting her name." He said and I smiled widely. "Thank you, Cisco. It's amazing" I whispered and put the jacket on. Killer Frost came out of Caitlin's lab, wearing a blue jacket and smirked at me. Then Cisco breached us infront the bank with a man with total black eyes infront of us, holding a bag full of cash. My hair turned silver and my eyes did, too.

"Looks like we got our first meta to catch. Go get him." A voice inside my head said and I realized I had full control over myself when I stopped the meta from running away. "Didn't your mama tell you not to keep something that's not yours?" I asked and Flash went into the building. When he came back out he looked at the meta I held back with my powers. "There are hostages. With ticking bombs." He said and my eyes widened. I remained calm and then with my powers I seperated the device for the bombs from the meta. Barry quickly grabbed it and a cold hand was on my shoulder. "You can do this." Killer Frost said and I took deep breaths. Barry went back in and got the hostages out with the help of Cisco while I struggled to stay in control.

Suddenly, the meta broke out of my grip and when I looked at him his eyes turned fully black again. Then my right arm rose into the air. Barry who stepped out of the building got into my sight and I made him stop moving. I stopped when Cisco shot a vibe blast at the meta. Barry put cuffs on the meta and Killer Frost pulled me back and I turned away from the scene.

I didn't notice when Cisco breached us back. I just walked like a machine back into the cortex. Not knowing what I just did. "Barry, I- I-" I couldn't put into words how sorry I was and he put the mask off. My hair and eyes were back to normal and I looked up at the hero of Central City. "It wasn't you, I know that. The hostages stated they were controlled by him. You don't have to worry. You did pretty good for your first time out on the field." He said and I sighed. "Really?" He smiled for a moment. "Really."

I got out of the jacket I wore and looked down at it. "Hey, are you okay?" Caitlin asked and Killer Frost was gone. I nodded. "I think so." Caitlin then hugged me. "You did really good. It's gonna take some time to get used to it." She said and I nodded. Then we parted and I looked at the team before I made my way out of Star Labs. But I didn't get far. Barry stopped me in the middle of the hall. "How about we go to grab a bite and then you'll tell me what happened with you and your parents?" He asked and I could hear the concern in his voice. "Okay." I whispered.
