The magic that was us
with our souls intertwined
How could you not miss
Who we became when our paths collided
I fell, laughing when our roads bumped together
And you reached out your hand
And I looked up into your brown eyes
and knew
That it had always been you I was searching for
And you looked down at me with a warming smile
that I just knew whispered,
"I've been waiting for you."
How could you forget
The journey that unfolded ahead of us from that moment on
How could you not miss
When it was you and me blazing a path against the world
