If relapse is part of recovery, will i ever really be over you?

It's times like this
When things fall through with someone new
That I miss the way you knew me
From every crevice in the depth of soul to each crinkle in my smile
The way you danced with me through words and moments
Like it was only you and I against the world
The way you put me first
The way you looked at me like I was a glowing sunset over an east coast bay
We had a language only you and I understood
Laughing as we defied all odds and ignored those who said it would never work
And I tend to forget the way you made me feel
I push away the little gestures
Like how you checked up on me
And the way you lit up at the sight of me
To move on and go forward
For the sake of my sanity
At this point
I wish I would've never met you
