Through your hardest struggles I
Sat and watched you cry
Pouring out my soul into small doses
To help you get away
From the poison that was her words
I opened your eyes
And allowed you to see her toxicity
For months i was by your side
Putting you back together
Every time you fell apart
I cried when you weren't around
I cried for you and for your happiness
But you didn't even tell me
When your one way love story
Finally ended
Much like how you didn't say a word
When you found someone new
Such a short time later
It was then when I was
Pushed to the dirt
As you ran off
Smiling and laughing
With a new state of mind
And another girl's hand
It was then when you said goodbye
and didn't even realize it
You walked out so suddenly
I hadn't known you had
Left at all
I had let you use every ounce
Of love I had to give
And you took all of it
And gave it to someone else
Perhaps the worst part is
Now this time when you finally
Walk away
You will use the excuse that
You are not good for me
That you had good intentions
You will take the cowards way out
You will say its for the best
And you will leave me
Thinking what you did
Was right
And you will leave me
Wondering what I did wrong
