We walked into the house and into the common room.
Matt ran to me " babe!" He grabbed Elena in the carrier from me " I got her." Everyone looked at Nancy " Mrs.Casey!" she smiled " oh you guys can call me Nancy please..." Hermann smiled " how's the little one..." I smiled " she's been fussy but happy now..." Matt put his hands on my shoulders " Gabby's the best mother though... she really has the charm."
Severide asked " so mrs... Nancy how long are you in town...?" She looked at Matt and then at me " unfortanelty I have to head home tomorrow night.... I have work to attend to..." Hermann looked at her " that's a shame..." Matt looked at her " but were glad to have you while we can mom."
She smiled " thanks guys."
