Part 42

Jughead's P.O.V

We arrived at the Wyrm and we were greeted by Alice, Toni, Kevin, Archie, Veronica and the rest of the serpents.

Alice came rushing towards her daughter. After a while everyone hugged her and Veronica can on saying how she was sorry even though it wasn't her fault.

After a while Betty wanted to go and get changed. Betty and I headed upstairs while the rest stayed downstairs.

When we entered Betty was greeted by the mess I had made

B-What happened here Jug

J-Well I kinda got out of hand since I couldn't find you. Don't worry I'll clean it.

She then turned around and gave me a kiss

B-I'm here now Jug. Why is the Christmas tree still up?

J-We wanted to wait until we found you so we could open the gifts together

Betty then smiled and tears wanted to come out. I wiped the tears. She entered the shower while I called the doctor to make an appointment to make sure bug is alright.

I then decided to clean the mess I had made. Once Betty got out of the shower she came up to me.

J-Ready to head downstairs? 

B-Yes

We then headed downstairs where everyone waited for us.

Once we sat down everyone began to talk and began to fill Betty in everything.

Betty's P.O.V

After a while of talking Sweet Pea and Fangs decided to go and get pizza for all of us. Oh boy lets see how that goes.

Just then the baby suddenly decided to kick hard.

J-Are you okay Betty?

B-Yes the baby just decided to kick

I began to rub my belly but the baby wouldn't stop kicking. I then think I knew what he wanted

B-Jug

J-Yes Betty?

B-The baby wants you

Jughead gave me a confused look. I put his hand on my stomach and then he realized what I meant. He began to rub my belly and the baby slowly began to stop kicking

B-He wanted daddy's attention

J-He sure did

V-So do you guys have any baby names?

B-Indeed we have one.

A-Let me guess his  going to be the IV?

B-How did you know mom?

A-Just a guess

J-Well yes, the baby name is going to be Forsythe Pendelton Jones IV, but we are now going to think of a nickname.

I smiled at him.

A-Have you guys worked on the nursery before what happened?

I shook my head no.

J-With everything that happened we don't even have the crib

V-Guys, don't begin to stress out. I'll help. I can go and buy and help put the room

B-V you don't have to do that

V-But I do

I suddenly began to cry. Pregnancy hormones

V-Don't cry B.

B-Sorry pregnancy hormones.

We then saw Fangs and Sweet Pea enter with the pizza

Fp-You guys actually didn't do anything dumb.

F-Surprise I know

We all laughed and then began to eat

-

We were now in bed while Jughead was talking to the baby

B-So we will have to think of a nickname.

J-What do you want it to be beautiful?

B-I have one but I don't know

J-What is it?

B-Charles

I then began to get a little teary

B-He was my older brother, but my dad..

J-You don't have to keep on talking I think I know.

Jughead then hugged me while I cried. After a while I finally calmed down.

B-Is there ice cream?

J-Yes there is. Does Charles want some?

B-Indeed

J-I'll go get it for you

He kissed my forehead before he went. He then came back with chocolate ice cream

B-Thanks

J-No problem

The rest of the night we talked and ate ice cream together....
