Chapter twenty-one (✔️)

Ragini and Laksh were now walking home, they couldn't find a parking place at the garage someone else took Ragini's parking place.

Laksh had to park the car a bit away from her apartment complex, she was happy, the night was filled with moonlight, the fresh breeze of the air flow through her hair.

Laksh was walking behind her, he took off his jacket and put it over her shoulder, Ragini surprises, but she knew he would do something like this. She adjusted the jacket and smiles at him, "I'm so happy!" She said and Laksh smiles even more.

"Really? Because I gave you my jacket?"

Ragini frowns, "what?"

Laksh shrugs, "I thought so, you didn't talked the whole way, but suddenly you started to speak just right after I gave you my jacket. I thought it is connected." He explains himself to her and she smiles.

"You are so cute!" She hugs him from the side and hooks in his arm, "I'm happy because Karan got the right punishment, he got insulted and defamed. Asshole!"

Laksh was just amazed by her, "you are so right! You know I wanted to punch him, but then I remembered John's words not to do any mistake, which could harm my career or reputation. So I hold myself back."

Ragini was happy, he was behaving mature enough to know, what he is capable to do.
"Laksh you did absolutely right and don't worry I can fight for myself I don't need a bodyguard all the time around me."

"Haan." Laksh agrees to her, "why a human, when you have a dog like Rex!"

Ragini looked at him, Laksh was suppressing his laugh, but both bursted out.

"What Yaar my poor Rex!" Ragini stopped walking, she was looking at her feet, "they are so hurting!" She pouts and Laksh bend down.

He lifts her skirt a little bit and checked on the heels, "wow, let me help you!" Laksh straighten himself and lifts her in his embrace, she put a hand around his neck the other one on his shoulder.

"Laksh if I fall asleep don't wake me!" She rested her head on his chest and smiles.

Laksh was happy. Finally she is so close, but will she stay this close to me? Why do I have this awful feeling something is going to happen.

Ragini couldn't sleep, she was looking at him continuously. Uff he is so cute and masculine, the total opposite of Karan, who used me as an accessory whilst he is carrying me like a princess. So delicately.

Laksh was in the elevator, they haven't looked at each other, both were waiting for the other one to make a step.

Laksh stepped out of the elevator and stood in front of her door, he was having difficulties to take out the key, "may I?"

Laksh looked at her, "I thought you are sleeping, but yes. Please unlock the door." Ragini opens her small bag near her wrist and took out the key, she unlock the door and Laksh entered the house, still carrying her.

He closed the door with his foot and leaned on it with his back, he didn't bow, but he made a squat Ragini was sitting on his lap, he took off her heels and made her stand.

Ragini smiles, "Thank you!"

Laksh nods with love to her, "mention not!"

Ragini was moving to her room and stopped, "Laksh do you need to use the washroom?"

Laksh nods, "well yes, I need to use it."

Ragini stood there and he rushed in, he wasn't taking much time and comes out looking at her, she had changed her clothes very fast as she was only in his jacket/coat.

Laksh was looking at her, she had opened her long hairs, which were curly because of her hairstyle of the night, she was looking at him in her natural look the make up was removed too.

Ragini lowers her gaze. Maybe I'm misunderstanding it.

Laksh moves to her, he lifts her chin and kisses her lips passionately, she reciprocates to his kiss and both landed on her bed...🙈🙈🙈🙈

Ragini was looking at him, he was holding her tightly in his embrace, there wasn't a possibility to move. Oh he is so cute. Kiddo! Oh no, he is younger than me, shit what I did I know he isn't a kid, but still I call him kiddo and he calls me aunty. Oh gosh what I did! I seduced him.

Ragini tried to free herself, but the grip was just too strong, "Laksh..." she tries to wake him, "Laksh get up!" She shouts and he opens an eyelid, "Good Morning A...Ragini!"

Ragini looked at him, "aunty or Ragini?"

"Ragini!" He said again looking into her eyes, "why, what happen?" He cups her face, "you feel we did wrong?"

Ragini widen her eyes, "I don't know how to judge this one-nightstand."

Laksh looked at her with a broken heart, "one-nightstand, that is what you call it?"

Ragini could feel the pain through his voice, "yes, what you thought we will start a relationship, after all I have been through? No Laksh, I'm not ready to be another man's toy!"

Laksh felt as if the ground underneath him slips away, "sorry!" He said and looked for his clothes, he didn't met her gaze, he couldn't show her his tears.

"Today is my audition. It would be nice if you could arrange it to come. You know I need my muse, but more than this I need a friend. I hope I'm your friend?"

Ragini didn't said anything.

Laksh couldn't look at her, he rushed out of the room and packed his bag, John told him if he gets the contract he could arrange a place to stay for him.

Ragini cries on the bed holding the pillow tightly in her hands. Damn it, what I did?

Laksh was walking the streets down, holding his bag over his shoulder. Why I was to say Aunty, she thinks I play with her.

Both were broken...
