"Sofia!" Jack yells as he crawls through the narrow space.
15 minutes later
Sofia starts slipping in and out of consciousness. Jack finally finds her.
"J-Jack." Sofia said.
"Injuries?" Jack said.
"Foot is stuck under the concrete, dislocated shoulder, my head hurts and I'm pretty sure a few of my ribs are broken cause they hurt when I breathe." Sofia said.
Sofia wakes back up.
"Sofia try to stay awake for me." Jack said.
"I'm cold and so tired." Sofia said.
Jack takes off his jacket and puts it on Sofia.
"Tell Ryan I love him and he's my favorite brother." Sofia said.
"Don't talk like that. You are going to be fine." Jack said.
Sofia winced in pain as Jack tries to check Sofia's wounds.
"I don't want to die." Sofia said.
Jack grabs a metal pole and starts to bang on the pipe to try to make noise so they know where they are.
"Jack." Sofia said.
Jack looks at Sofia.
"What's wrong?" Jack asked.
Sofia kisses Jack. Jack smiles. A bright light hits hits where Sofia and Jack are.
"Glad to see you guys again." Sullivan said.
"Can I just get out of here?" Sofia said.
"Someone get me cribbing and airbags." Jack said.
Maya runs back.
"Gibson here." Maya said as she reaches down to give him first the cribbing then the airbags.
"You ready?" Jack asked.
"No but do it." Sofia said.
Jack sets the cribbing then starts inflating the airbags.
"¡Santa Madre de Dios!" Sofia yells.
Jack drags Sofia away from the concrete. Maya puts a ladder down the hole and slides down a basket. Jack buckles Sofia in and sends her up. Everyone is cheering. But all Sofia can think about is that kiss. Did it ruin things?
