Hey guys! I can't help but notice how... much better my last chapter 'Lea's Story' went compared to my previous chapters. I don't kow if it has something to do with the fact that it was the biggest turning point of the entire story as it is L telling her story but I'm going to put in more Lea as you can see by the name of the chapter. Anyways, enjoy. :)
Flashback~
I couldn't help but realize the similarity between Lea and my stories. I wanted Lindsey back after our yearlong hiatus while Lea was looking for Chris. I'm willing to take her offer. I'll help her find Chris and she'll help me get Lindsey.

~And you may not think I care for you when you know down inside that I really do and it's me you'll need to show how deep is your love.~
"So the message isn't talking about you and Lindsey?" Danny asked as I filled him in on what happened the previous afternoon.
I nodded.
"And it's actually talking about a younger couple... named Lea and Chris because Lea wants to get her Chris back?"
Again, I nodded.
"And you agreed to help her why?"
I stood up and paced around the hotel room. "Because. When I look at Lea, she's like a younger female version of me. She knew she messed up and I know I messed up too. The only difference is she's aware of this mistake while I'm not. Anyway, this message sent me on an adventure. If it wasn't for this small message in a bottle, I'd still be cooped up in my house back in Oaksville."
"This thing gave me renewed hope. No, it's not closure but it gave me some answers, vague as some of them may be. I have to help her, Danny. If you were in my shoes, I know you would." I shrugged.
He simply rolled his eyes. He was never really the helpful type but as my best friend, he was forced to accept whatever action I take. I chuckle at the thought of this.
"So when are you going to start helping this Lea girl?" Danny asked as he played with his iPhone.
"I have to meet her tomorrow morning in The Black Hat to talk about it." I replied non-chalantly.
"And...what about Lindsey?"
"Huh?" I looked up from a restaurant menu I was staring at.
"Lindsey." He repeated closing his iPhone. "Your real objective. What happened with Lindsey?"
I lied down on the other bed frustratedly. "I honestly don't know. I think she's in a very...confused state. She says she likes me but she doesn't want to hurt Derek."
"Tough luck." He simply muttered.
I immediately threw two of my pillows at him. "Tough luck?! Got better advice, Mr. Best Friend?! I need to find a way to convince her that I'm the one she wants, that I'm the one she should choose."
"Ow!" He glared at me as I smirked at him in return. "Fine, I will give you advice. You say you need to convince her, right? The only way you can convince is her is by showing your story again."
"What the hell are you talking about?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Show Lindsey your love story - how you met, how the sparks flew instantly and people would say you're the lucky one-"
"Dude, that's Taylor Swift." I tried my best not to laugh.
"It's...I...Just go with it man!" He stuttered as I laughed out loud. "Anyway, you have to show her your love story. That's what happened with you, right? You read the letter and that convinced you to travel to Milan to find Lindsey. Obviously, she isn't as easily convinced as you since she didn't fall for the letter so you have to find a different way to show her your history."
