Sorry for the long absence. I've got tons of stuff in school. Listen, I've got my exams coming up but once I'm done with them and after a few days after that, I'll be having my sem break so just expect a lot from that time. Problem is my sem break starts at Oct 30 - exactly one day before October 31 aka the deadline for the Watty Awards. -_-

Recap~
"And where exactly is this neighborhood where the two of you grew up?"
"Oaksville, Pennsylvania."

~I hope life treats you kind and I hope you have all you dreamed of. And I wish to you joy and happiness. But above all of this, I wish you love.~
The waitress smiled and served me my cup of capuccino as I stared at the window waiting for her. What's taking so long? It's a perfectly fine day. It's Sunday so there's no work.
And just when I was about to sigh in frustration, Lindsey came in the cafe wearing her maroon trenchcoat. She wore a disgruntled face and looked around finally finding. She took the seat beside me and removed and stuffed the trenchcoat into her tote bag.
At least she smiled at me despite of what must've been her horrible day. "Hey, what do you need?"
"I was wondering...would Prada be okay if you took off your job for a while?" I could swear I was blushing like a teenage boy all over again.
She smiled back looking at how red my face went. "Of course. I can always give it to those under me and my superiors would be okay with it. They're pretty nice."
"That's great." I said. "So, I will repeat my previous statement. I was wondering...would you like to go on a trip with me?"
Her smile instantly faded and it was substituted by a look of worry. "I don't know if that's such a good idea, Chris."
"Hear me out." I said while ordering a capuccino for Lindsey. "I understand the fact that you're still confused about Derek and although I don't like it, I'll respect if for you, Lin. I listen to you so now please listen to me in return. Remember that girl I helped back in the Black Hat?"
She thought for a while looking up to the bright, blue sky outside inquisitively for a while. She looked cute when she did that. She nodded smiling.
"Well, I'm helping her an I've found a solution."
"Where are you going with this, Chris?" She asked looking at me with those hazel brown eyes of hers.
"I'm going back to Oaksville and you're coming with me." I declared.
"Why Oaksville?" She asked with a curious look in her eyes.
"You know what they say, home is where the heart is. I believe everything the girl, Lea's looking for is there. I mean, look at us! I travelled all the way to Rome only to realize that all the answers were at home, your home - New York."
"I still don't know. You can do this on your own. You have Danny and this Lea girl anyway."
I chuckled. "It's not about...help. I want to give the two of us time."
"Time?"
"Time...time alone. You're confused because Derek is always around. The minute you consider things with me, Derek comes along and throws you off-track. It won't cost you anything."
"I'm still worried about Derek." She said casting a worried look over at the concrete pavements outside the cafe. "He is my childhood friend. I can't just let go of him like that."
