Two weeks later...

I haven't talked to Noah for about two weeks after that night at his house. What makes me even more frustrated is how he hasn't bothered to text me or contact me. No one has heard from him which reminds me of the first time he disappeared for two weeks. A part of me keeps thinking that he will be back any time soon, because he came back the last time. But little by little, I feel like this is the end of it.

These past two weeks have been torture for me. Every single passing minute, my mind wanders to Noah.

Noah, Noah, Noah, Noah. Everything is about Noah.

I'm reading a book..............that Noah got for me.

I'm eating dinner.........and thinking about Noah.

I'm writing my name down for a homework assignment............I end up writing 'Noah'.

I swear it's like I'm falling for him...

I freeze in my tracks as I'm pacing around my room.

I'm falling for him.

That can't be...

I can't be falling for him. He left me for two weeks and hasn't talked to me at all. He made me worry for two weeks about him. He made me come home when we were supposed to spend time together.

I am not falling for him.

I pull out my phone and contact Hunter. I know Ethan, Lea, and Brooke are all really busy today and sadly, I'm a socially awkward idiot who doesn't have any other friends so Hunter is the next best person. Plus, I need to go out and not crowd myself with this thought.

I. Am. Not. Falling. For-

"Hey Chrissy. What's up?" Hunter answers my call, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Hey," I blurt. I did not think he would answer this fast. "I was just wondering if you wanted to hangout," I ask.

"Sure sure. We could get food or something. Do you have any ideas?"

My first craving is the milkshakes at the diner that Noah took me to a few weeks ago. "I know a place that has good milkshakes," I tell him.

"Sounds good. I'll come pick you up ASAP," Hunter says and hangs up.

I run my hand into the roots of my hair and make a fist like a crazy lady. "Oh my gosh Chrissy. What are you doing?" I say to myself. I've officially gone crazy.

Kathy brings Hunter and I our plates of food and two milkshakes. When we first walked in, she gave me a friendly smile then a weird look when she saw Hunter. We talked for a little before she left to help someone else. Sundays are always a busy day she says. She also said that she's off work soon as her coworker is filling in for her.

"This food is so good," Hunter exclaims as we eat our food Kathy just brought us.

"I know right?" I respond before taking a bite of my burger.

"You know that girl?" Hunter points at Kathy. "I think her and Noah were a thing," Hunter says and I swallow down the big lump in my throat.

"What?" I manage to squeeze out.

"Yeah. I've seen them fool around outside together before. They were all over each other," Hunter explains.

"Oh."
