this might be a little confusing, but just re-read if you dont get it. honestly, there isn't any description because i was lazy, but while looking back and editing, i realized that it kind of emphasizes how everything went by so quickly. READ ON

"Oh my gods, Annabeth. I think I should take you to the hospital or something-"

"I'm fine, Percy! Totally fine..."

"It looks like you peed on the carpet, and if it is pee, then could you move so that I can clean it up?"

"All right, I've had it! Go get the bag and lock the door and everything and meet me at the elevator."

"Ha! You admitted it!"

"I'm in pain over here!"

"Right, sorry. Just a little excited."

*A THIRTY MINUTE CAR DRIVE LATER*

"Hello, Mr. Jackson! I'm guessing this isn't another false alarm?"

"Hey, Dr. Walsh. Nope, I don't think so." *laughs*

"So, Mrs. Jackson, how're you doing? Hanging in there?"

"I'm doing okay, thanks."

"Any contractions yet?"

"I've been timing them on the way here, and they're about five or six minutes apart."

"Good! My nurse will take you to a room for prepping. Mr. Jackson, would you like to go with her or stay in the waiting room? To be honest, it takes some guts to watch a birth, and sometimes it involves blood..."

"I go wherever my wife goes." *nervous laugh* "And I think I have the guts to handle it."

"Well then, right this way. Linda can push the wheelchair if you'd like-"

"No, it's okay. There's no problem."

*AFTER CHANGING INTO ONE OF THOSE HOSPITAL DRESS THINGYS*

"I can't believe it's happening already!"

"Most of our patients call it the miracle of life, Mrs. Jackson."

*Percy looks confused* "Most?"

"Abortions."

"Right."

*ON THE HOSPITAL  BED, 5-6 HOURS LATER*

*groan* "Percy, it really hurts."

"I know, Beth, I'm sorry."

"What?"

"Well, I'm sorry. Because... you know... 'cause I'm the one... uhh..."

"I don't need an explanation."

 *ONE HOUR LATER*

"Almost there, Annabeth! Keep pushing!"

"OH GODS OH GODS OH GODS-"

*grips Annabeth's hand* "It's okay, Beth. It's okay-"

Nurse mutters: "Gods...? What the-"

*baby screaming and everything... using good imagery here ;-) *

"Congradulations, Percy! You're a new dad!"

"I'm a... a what?"

"The nurses are going to wash him first. Oh, I almost forgot! You wanted the gender to be a surprise, didn't you?"

"Him?"

"C'mon, let me introduce you to your son."

*LIKE WITHIN 2 HOURS OF THE BIRTH AND TALKING QUIETLY 'CAUSE THE BABY'S SPLEEPING*

"My gods... he's perfect..."

"Beth, are you happy?"

"The happiest I've ever been."

"Really? Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I really am."

"His hair reminds me of Jason's... and yours, of course."

"He has your eyes, though."

"I'll admit to that."

"He's so beautiful..."

"...That's why I think he takes after you more."

"I love you, Percy. And don't ever be sorry for this."

"So what were our choices again?"

"For what...?"

"Um, you know. A name?"

"Oh, right! You said you wanted a simple name, and I wanted it to be Greek, remember?"

"Yeah. I think I chose Alex."

"Alex?"

"Short for Alexander."

"... I like it."

"But could you call him that for the rest of his life?"

"Yeah, I could."

EKKKK HOW'D YOU GUYS LIKE THE NAME? you know... Alexander the Great? so yeah :D

I guess i could change the baby's name you you guys really dont like it, but it's definitely going to be boy. ties in with more updates to come ;-)
