Time: Unknown
Location: Judgment Hall
As much as I had grown to love the skeleton before me, my worry for him only continued to grow as well as the time went on. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on inside of his head.

Walking through the core, as Sans called it, I remembered various times of the blues and reds where they would seemingly changed hues along the walls. It was hot, yet it was cooler than Hotland my a large difference. The heat was bearable, probably in the upper 80's, while Hotland had to have been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sans and I carried on conversations throughout the mysterious place, and it was strangely silent, but Sans knew the way and him keeping me company led to the evaporation of said silence. There were a lot of twists and turns, however, Sans had a mental map of the place already, memorizing which corridor to go down, no matter how complicated. The doors were already open anyways.

After what had happened after the resort, Sans flushed a bright purple color, talking to himself and hitting his skull behind me. It only caused me to giggle and watch how our relationship had grown over the time. He really had changed with me around, and I couldn't help but love the jokester inside of him.  However, his personality was rapidly changing, and I didn't know how to stop that.

He was constantly taking to himself whenever he wasn't talking to me. He even asked to hold my hand for a while just to block, what I could guess was Papyrus, out. It was really starting to scare me and I didn't know when he was going to become unstable again. He was really tired, I could tell by the swaying in his body whenever he took a step. He really needed to sleep despite his wants of staying awake. That must not be helping his mental state either.

As we walked it continuously got worse. And the dust piles scattered around everywhere didn't help his mental state. there were a lot, much more than any other place, and in small corners seemed to be where the most were. Had most of the monsters been back here at the time of the killings? I would assume that they had been evacuated or something to be squeezed back here into a tiny area of the Underground.

I had thought about Sans. Was I really straight with my mind when I had declared my feelings towards him? Was I going insane as well? I couldn't tell. He murdered so many people and monsters of the underground like they were nothing, or so it seemed. He never told me the true story behind it, and I didn't want him to, afraid of the consequences that it might bring to his mental state.

Even the worst people can change.

I shook my head. He changed. He's now a funny, smart skeleton, and if that means that he has to be fixed mentally for a little bit, I could wait for him. he had been by my side for so long now, good or bad intentions, he decided to stay with me. So I'll stay by him to return the favor.

The core had piles of steam shooting out of nowhere and any sudden noises caused him to attack immediately. I didn't know if that was because of his personality change, or if he was trying to protect me with his life, now that we had shared that intimate moment together in the hotel room. It was puzzling, however, I was going to make sure that he was going to get better. I did it once, I can do it again. I'd do whatever it took to bring him back.

After passing the core, we both walked by this place called 'New home'. sans said it was part of the core, but it looked strikingly similar to the house that I had seen a while ago back in the ruins. Had the same people lived here or was that only a coincidence? It was surprisingly clean, no dust piles inside the house, however, a lot of failed recipes lied in the garbage can when we had passed by it.

"Sans?" I asked him, walking down a hall that seemed to look over all of the inside city. It was beautiful, being inside the royal castle. More and more dust piles sprung about and he looked over at me, except it was incredibly delayed, as if he were either thinking, or not in his right mind.

"Yeah?" he asked. "What's up?" He included, looking at my eyes with a fear at first, but they returned to their usual calmness when his eyes met mine. As if I were a safe guard for him. Did he really reciprocate the same feelings as I did? or was he just leeching off of the fact that I bring him back to reality? "you look sad, are you okay?"

"yeah. I'm fine." I said, looking at him, "The question is: Are YOU okay, Sans?" I asked. He had been strangely silent for the fast few minutes of walking, approaching the end of the long hallway. I could see the tile change in the other room with red and gold tiling and golden pillars. His eyes darkened at once when I asked the question, as if he were thinking about what was wrong in the first place.

"I'm fine." he said, bluntly, looking at the doorway and stopping for a second. "Shut up. You're not in this conversation." He hissed to his side, and chuckled sightly. "You wouldn't understand anyways." He said, looking at me with sorrowful eyes. "As much as I want to tell you, I can't let you worry." He said, walking up to me and caressing my face his his fingers lightly.

The brush of the back of his fingers sent butterflies to roam around my stomach rapidly, fluttering and causing my heart to pump fast. "But, " I said, looking down and looking away. knowing he was trying to make me lose my words. "You're not okay." I said. "And I want to be there for you, but if you don't tell me, it'll just make me worry more." I said, huffing slightly, and crossing my arms.

"Who said I'm not okay?" He said, and Smiled, "I said sHUT UP. Papyrus.!" He snapped, rather angrily in the other direction towards the door. "You just really remind me of someone I used to know, that's all." he said, running his fingers through my hair, "And I can't bring myself to not see her in you out of fear."
