Chapter 1

The sun begins to rise early in the morning shining a nice bright light all over Auradon. As the bright sunlight shined it went through the window leading into Mal and Evies dorm. The sun hit Mal right in the face causing her to slowly wake up.

The purple haired girl would then slowly sit up as she rubbed her eyes and began to yawn. As she yawned she would begin to stretch a bit. Once she finished stretching she saw her blue haired best friend was awake working on dresses in her desk like usual.

"Already working on dresses E?" Mal questioned as she looked at her. "You just spent the last month working on the dresses for Cotillion, you're gonna work yourself to death." She told her.

"This is just for me M." Evie responded as she was sewing. "I know I worked hard all month long but you know making dresses is something I love to do." She told her.

"Yeah I know but its like you never take a break." Mal responded as she gets out of bed and walks over to her best friend.

"Remind me again, why aren't you and Ben sleeping together?" Evie questioned as she was still sewing.

"Because I'm not ready to move forward in my relationship with him." Mal said softly.

Evie stopped her sewing then turned and looked at Mal. "Mal you legit almost lost him last night to Uma and your kiss broke his spell." She reminded her. "You clearly love him so why aren't you ready?" She asked.

"Maybe it was more he loves me and I'm not truly sure how I feel." Mal stated. "But its probably cause of all the shit that happened last night and its messig with my head." She said.

"Exactly, so just try to clear your head and you'll realize you truly love Ben." Evie told her.

"Maybe you're right E, I guess we will have to wait and see." Mal responded.

Mal would then go back to her bed and lay down before hearing a knock on the door. She would sit up and see the door open slightly as Doug walked in with his normal big smile.

"Morning." He said happily before entering and shutting the door. "How are you two?" He asked as he went and kissed Evies head.

"Tired." Mal said. "How the hell are you so happy at early ass o'clock?" She questioned.

"Its nine fifty." Doug responded.

"Oh dont mind her babe she's just tired frome everything that happened last night." Evie said. "Anyways I'm doing good." She said with a smile.

"Wait its nine fifty?!" Mal said with shock in her voice.

"Yeah." Doug said as he looked at her.

"Shit I was suppose to meet up with Ben and help him around the school!" She said as she popped up and started grabbing clothes.

"Oh about that." Evie said. "He stopped by and told me to tell you that you don't have to worry about it since he knows how tired you are." She told her.

"Why didn't you tell me this when I woke up?!" Mal questioned as she turned around.

"I was busy." Evie responded.

"Well um anyways I gotta go." Doug said as he headed for the door. "See ya girls later." He then blew a kiss to Evie before leaving.

Mal would then sit down on her bed again before laying down as she sighed. She looked up at the ceiling as she had a lot of thoughts in her head.

"E what would you have done if I had stayed on the Isle?" Mal questioned.

"I wouldn't have left." Evie responded as she looked at Mal.
