Callie was now at school the next day in the library with Sweet Pea. She was helping him with the SATS.

"Adroit," Callie showed him the flashcard.

 " Yield," Sweet Pea answered.

" You're guessing," Callie answered.

" Then put it in a sentence," Sweet Pea demanded.

" With brass knucles you are adroit," Callie said

" A beast," Sweet Pea answered.

" Similar, but no," Callie denied. " The word means skillful."

" So why did Archie run out?" Sweet Pea asked. " Last night?"

" He's having a hard time readjusting," Callie answered. " He just survived a bear attack."

" A bear attacked him?" Sweet Pea asked.

" Yeah, between passing out and waking up the hospital, he had some sort of head thing," Callie tried to explain. " He saw Cassidy playing G&G, he went got the Black Hood, came back and saw Warden Norton, killed Mr. Lodge, came back saw Betty, Jughead and Veronica. Went out and killed himself apparently me and my dad tried to stop him and next thing he knew is that he waking up in the hospital."

" That's a lot to process," Sweet Pea stated.

" I know," Callie answered. " Now let's get back to these flash cards." Sweet Pea groaned.

" Quixotic," Callie said. " Jughead can be quitoxic."

" A pain in the ass," Sweet Pea answered, Callie, laughed. " Did I get it right?"

" Nope," Callie laughed. " It means foolish."

" He's is very quixotic," Sweet Pea agreed. " Let me test you." He grabbed two flash cards and looked at it. " At night the school is vacuous."

" Empty," Callie answered.

" Lucky guess," Sweet Pea as he put the card down. " Our relationship was evanescent."

" I could have lasted if you didn't give up on us," Callie said as she stood up. " Evanescent means not long lasting." She gathered her stuff and left without a word, Sweet Pea slammed his head on the table in frustration.

Late that night Callie walked into Archie's room with the laundry basket.

" Fresh whites," Callie said as she entered with Dad behind her. They saw him putting things in a box. " What, you changing it up in here a little bit?" Callie put the basket on his bed and started to fold the clothes.

" I was studying at my desk, but it was cluttered with all this crap," Archie said.

" Oh! Who is this guy?" Dad asked as he held up a picture of Archie, smiling with a guitar. " The Variety Show. You remember that? That was great."

" Barely, to be honest," Archie answered as he put books in the box.

" Are...are you feeling okay, Arch?" Callie asked.

" Yeah, Callie," Archie answered. " I'm just...restless. It's weird being home, back in this room after all this time. Feeling kind of lost." He grabbed his football.

"Wanna talk about it?" Dad asked.

" Maybe after the SATs," Archie answered. " I better keep studying." He sat in his chair as Dad sighed.

" Can you fold them elsewhere?" Archie asked Callie.

" Yeah," Callie answered as she took the basket and walked out of the room and into hers where Vegas was located. She turned on some Lana Del Ray and soon a voice came in. Callie put a listening device on Fangs' phone.
