Peter's POV: I slipped the ring on her finger, and she threw her arms around my neck. After a few minutes, we raced down the stairs as if we were kids, and she won.

No surprise.

She tripped me!

Cheater...

"Children, please, settle down. Your grandpas are trying to sleep still." Natasha joked.

"They take the excitement and fun out of everything!" Y/n whined.

"They're brittle! They're fossils. They don't know 'excitement and fun'." I replied, grabbing the milk jug from the fridge. 

Sam walked in, talking to Redwing. The guy needs  someone... Or he should take up a hobby. "Nice ring Y/n." Sam acknowledged without skipping a beat.

"Ring?! What ring?!" Natasha gasped. She grabbed Y/n's hands and set them on the counter. "It's so beautiful! And it's about time!" She smiled.

"So... When do the itsy bitsy spiders come?" Clint winked.

"Dunno." Y/n shrugged. She grabbed an apple, and threw it at his head. He caught it and she cursed.

"Steve doesn't appreciate that type of language." Bucky yawned.

"He's asleep. What he doesn't hear from me won't hurt him!" She replied.

"Are you guys still using that joke?" Steve complained.

"What joke?" Bruce asked, cleaning his glasses.

Pepper walked in with Tony, and they sat on the couch. Wanda and Vis came in, and they both immediately noticed the ring. Wanda could 'hear the excitement', and Vision could see it, plain as day on her finger.

"Finally!" Wanda shrieked. "It happened!!! Where did you get the ring? Its so beautiful..." Wanda grinned.

Tony had previously been drinking coffee, and he spat it out while choking on it. "When did this happen?!" He asked. Pepper just rolled her eyes.

"Just this morning..." Y/n answered.

"Who died and gave you permission to marry my son?" He asked.

Now it was my turn to choke. "Y-your.... Son?" I asked.

"........."

"I'm fine with you saying I'm your son and all but where did that come from?"

"I've been spending too much time with Pepper at daycare." Tony groaned.

"Daycare?!" Sam snorted.

"Why would you need daycare? You don't have children." Bucky pointed out.

"Yeah, actually, we have one." Pepper admitted.

"Since when?!" Clint scoffed.

"Since 4 years ago." Pepper answered. "Her name is Morgan. Happy is babysitting her this week, then we're heading back to our hideaway."

"Are you kidding!? I've been carrying this thing around since 2008!" Happy's excited voice came over the speakers.

"What the he-... Heck. I was gonna say heck Steve!" Y/n rolled her eyes. "Can you believe this guy?!" She asked.

Just thought I'd update. I mean, I haven't been slacking.....🙄
