Into Narnia

One

    Abby sat on the seashore watching the sunset. Someone sat down beside her and she knew who it was without looking. She rested her head on his shoulder and he put his arm around her shoulders

"Hey Ed."
"Hey there beautiful girl."
Abby blushed and smiled.

"What are you thinking about?" Edmund asked. Noticing Abby was clearly distracted.
"Nothing."
"Abby." Edmund raised his eyebrows.

Abby sighed.

"Just...what if something happens to us? I mean Narnia isn't a perfect world and bad things happen....what if something happens like the Witch or someone dies or..."

"Hey, Hey Listen Listen."
Edmund stopped her and cupped her cheeks and his heart broke when he saw her unshed tears. 
"I can't lose someone Ed....I-I can't."
"You won't. Don't worry about any of that. Everything is going to be okay. Nothing bad will happen to anyone. I promise to protect you with my life!"

Abby gasped and her eyes went wide.
"There is no way in the world I can lose you Ed! Please-"
"You won't lose me."
"Promise?"
"No matter what. I am yours.
"I promise."

Abby smiled and hugged him tightly. Eventually they pulled apart.

They looked into each others big brown eyes and smiled.
After about a minute of just looking at each other Edmund slowly leaned in and kissed her lips.

Abby kissed back as she felt his warm soft buttery lips against hers. She took in his scent and his taste...she took in every detail of this moment she never wanted to forget.
Finally they pulled apart.

"Woah!"
Abby said smiling and trying to catch her breath.
"Yeah." Said Edmund panting.
"That just felt-" Edmund started
"Right." Abby finished.
"Yeah. Right like it should have been this way all along. Like it was only me and you and we were-"
"One." They said in unison.
The two smiled and put their foreheads against each other.

"It's ready!" Peter shouted
The two smiled as they stood up to join the others. Peter though it would be fun to build a fire on the beach and have a cookout.
They all sat around the fire eating and laughing and just, enjoying each others company.

When they finished Lucy, Anna and Sydni all decided to go swimming while Peter, Susan and Edmund cleaned up.

Abby started walking down the beach looking up at the stars.

Sydni and Anna decided to go talk to her while Lucy went to talk to her siblings.

"Hey." Anna and Sydni said in unison as they walked up to Abby.
"Hey." Abby said with a smile.

"You okay?" Sydni asked.
Abby smiled.
"Yeah. Wonderful."
"Woah woah woah!" Anna said.
"Abby, you are always okay, good or great, but never wonderful."
"Did something happen with you and Ed?" Sydni asked.
Abby blushed. "Maybe..." Abby said walking away sheepishly.

"Abbygail Harris-"
"Anna!" Abby warned with a slight laugh.
"Abbygail?" Sydni questioned

"What happened with you and Edmund? Anna asked in a more stern tone.
Abby looked at the ground then back up at her friends.
Abby sighed.

"He kissed me." Abby said as huge smile  made its way onto her face.
Both Anna and Sydni screamed and hugged Abby tightly.
All three girls laughed as they eventually let go of each other.
"Now about this Abbygail thing." Sydni started.
"Sydni!" Abby laughed.

"How's it going with you two?" Lucy asked Edmund as she walked up to her siblings.
"Great!" Edmund said with a smile, but he blushed a little and Susan noticed.
"Ed, what aren't you telling us?" She asked.
"Nothing!" Edmund said quickly.
"Edmund Pevensie!" Peter said in a stern, yet jokingly manner.
"Alright!"

"We kissed." Edmund said looking down at the ground.

"What?!" Three voices said in unison.
"That's Great Edmund"  Susan said. "Thank you Susan." Edmund said and smiled widely.

Peter walked over to him. "Looks like my little brother is a ladies man!"
Peter teased rubbing Edmunds hair.
"Pete!" Edmund laughed.

"You really do like her don't you?" Lucy asked.

Edmund looked over at Abby. She was smiling widely and laughing. She looked happier then ever and at seeing this his smile widened.

"Yeah. I really do."

"Oh congratulations Edmund!" Lucy said as she wrapped her arms around her brother tightly.

"Woah!" Edmund said in shock. He wasn't expecting her to hug him, but he didn't mind at all.
Once he pulled himself together, he wrapped his arms around his sister tightly.

"I'm so happy for you Ed." Lucy said

"Thanks Lu." Edmund said with a smile and then they pulled apart.

Edmund laughed now realizing Lucy had gotten him wet, since she had been swimming.

"Lucy." Edmund said laughing.

"Sorry." Lucy said smiling. I couldn't hold it in any longer.

"It's alright." Edmund said. "But it's my turn now."

Edmund sprinted over to where Abby was.
Abbys face lit up as Edmund approached. "Hey E-"
She was cut off by Edmund picking her up bridal style.

"Ed what are you doing?" Abby questioned.
"Just having some fun." Edmund replied as he walked towards the water.
When he got into the water Abby realized what he was doing and her eyes went wide.

"Edmund Pevensie you put me down right now!!" Abby Shouted
"Okay." Edmund said nonchalantly as he threw her into the water.
Edmund laughed as Abby came up from underwater soaking wet.
"Edmund Pevensie I am going to KILL YOU!"
Abby said jumping on his back and pushing him into the water.

"Hey!!" Edmund said.
"You started it!"
Abby said with a laugh, as she started splashing him just as he got back on his feet. He splashed her back just as everyone else came to join in.
In seconds everyone was soaking wet and laughing so hard they thought they might cry.
