Queens of Narnia

About five minutes later Abby heard a knock at the door.
"Come in." She finally said as she began wiping away her tears.
"Hey." Edmund said as he sat on the bed beside her.
"Hey." Abby said in a voice that broke Edmunds heart.
"You okay?" Edmund asked, putting his arm around her.
There were a few moment of silence before Abby finally answered.
"No." She said plainly.

Abby looked Edmund in the eyes.
"I can't do it Ed." She said with a cry.
"I can't leave Narnia, I can't leave my home. I always said if I ever got to Narnia I would never ever leave!
I can't leave You! Your the Love of my Life, My, My Soulmate."
Edmund had tears in his eyes as he pulled Abby in for a hug.

"I don't want you to leave either." Edmund said as he let the tears he had held in for so long fall.
"It kills me thinking that I can't see you or talk to you everyday.
I love you. I love you so much, and I don't want to lose you."
"I love you too Edmund. I love you so much!!"

The two finally pulled apart.
"Gosh I wish I could spend the rest if my life with you." Abby said.
"Me-" Edmund started to say but then he stopped.
His eyes went wide and huge smile appeared on his face.

"What?" Abby asked.
"Maybe we can!" Edmund said excitedly.
"But Edmund I'm leaving Narnia soon." Abby squeezed her eyes shut. "That hurt to say."

"But anyway Edmund, there is no way we could possibly-"
"Come with me." Edmund said as he pulled Abby off the bed and dragged her down the castle halls.
He took her to the balcony.

"You remember this place?" Edmund asked.
"Of course." Abby said with a smile.
"This is where we had our first conversation." Abby said as she put her hand on the rail, admiring the memory.

"Listen." Edmund said, and Abby looked into his chocolate brown eyes.

"I know you have to leave. And I know it's going to be so hard when you do, but I love you. And I know that you love me too. And it's heartbreaking that we can't grow old together.
But we are together now. And now, I am in complete and total love with you.
Your my soulmate, the love of my life, and no matter what world or year you live in that will never change."

"So." Edmund said as he got down on one knee and took Abbys hands in his.
"Oh my gosh!" Abby said, tears in her eyes.
"Abby Harris, Will You Marry Me?"
Abby started crying and pulled Edmund to his feet.
"Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!! A thousand times yes!!!!!!" Abby said with a huge smile.
Edmund smiled back and hugged her.
They squeezed each other tightly, both of them bursting with excitement.
They pulled away and kissed each other on the lips.

After they finally pulled away, Edmund
put his arms around Abby's waist as she looked over the balcony.
"We can do it tomorrow."
Edmund said.
"No." Abby said.
"Tonight. After our coronation. On the beach, and under the stars. I want to be your wife for as long as possible."
Edmund smiled.
"Okay then, tonight it is.

"To the Shining Shimering Stars, I give you, Queen Abby, The Kind-Hearted."

Aslan said with shimmering eyes.

Abby smiled as Mr. Tumnus placed a beautiful crown upon her head.

"To the Majestic Green Trees I give you Queen Anna, The Benevolent."

"To the Calm Flowing Streams, I give you Queen Sydni, The Thoughtful."

"You are Queens from Narnia, yet ruling a whole other world. What an honor. Grace your people with Love, Courage and Strength. Give them faith. Help them find their way to my country."

The three girls bowed to Aslan and thanked him.
When he nodded back they smiled at each other and hugged.

"We are Queens of Narnia!" Anna said.
"This is so amazing!" Said Sydni.
"Congratulations, Kind-Hearted Queen."
Edmund said, walking up to Abby.
Abby smiled at him.
"Thank You Just King."
Edmund smiled at her and kissed her cheek.
"Now." Abby said taking his hand.
"Let's get married."
