Chapter 11

Percy's POV
She's gone. I won't see her for a long time. I can't believe this. She's probably going to get a boyfriend and forget all about me. I felt so bad right now. I wanted to go to San Francisco and stop her from dating anyone. I know that sounds weird but I can't help it.
Annabeth's POV
I'm in San Francisco now. Well, I can't go back to Newyork. We unpacked our baggage into our old house. The next thing I did was call my old boyfriend. I'll always love percy but I need to get over him otherwise I'll be depressed forever.
I waited anxiously as the phone rang. "Hello" a voice said. "Hi Derek , its me Annabeth." I smiled hoping he would remember me. "Oh my god! Is it really you?!?" he asked in disbelief. "Yes it is , I moved back because my dad got a new job here." I said happily although inside I was dying.
"Jessica and Cora will be so thrilled that your back!" he practically yelled. "Can we meet at the same park we used to?" I asked nervously. "Sure, see u in a few." . "Bye" I said quickly as I run up to get dressed.
I was waiting for Derek at the park. I was wearing a dark red beanie with a sweater that matches, and some blue denim skinny jeans with my white converse. I saw a tall handsome man with broad shoulders come towards me. I started into his greyish-green eyes as he stared into my grey eyes. He's grown so much.
"Derek, is that you?" I laugh. "Annabeth, is that you?" he says mimicking my voice. I punch him playfully in the shoulder, then pull him into a hug. I admit he is kinda hot. We sat on a park bench and started catching up. We laughed a lot. He was the same guy I knew one year ago. Except he's been working a lot on himself since then, and I like it.
We stopped talking for a moment and admired the multicolored leaves falling on the ground. I wonder how Piper,Thalia, and Erica are doing. I wonder how percy is doing too. I shed a tear , but quickly wiped it away not wanting Derek to notice. He started talking. "Annabeth, since your here and all I was wondering if u would like to get back toget-" I cut him off with a quick kiss. "How is that answer for ya?" I asked cheekily. "I'll take that as a yes" he said as he hugged me tightly. "I've missed you" he says quietly. "I've missed you too".
