Annabeth's POV
I was half asleep. I have been awake next to percy's side for about 3 days. I'm getting worried. Why isn't he waking up. It was just a stab in the side. What if one of his organs were damaged? I stopped thinking because if I thought, more worse case scenarios would pop up. "Umph humh uhh" I heard. I turned around and found percy running his hand through his hair. "What happened?" he muttered. I sigh in relief. "It doesn't matter, as long as your ok." I tell him sweetly.
He smiles. "I feel fine." he reassures. I look at my feet. What now? "Um Annabeth?" I lift my head up. "Yeah?" I answer nervously. "I know this month has been kinda rocky but I was hoping this time u wouldn't refuse." he says shyly. "Refuse what." I smirk. "I know this isn't very romantic but will you be my girlfriend?" he asks. I nod happily and hug him quickly trying to avoid hurting him. This is perfect.
