Connor's POV -

I had gotten into the CyberLife tower. They believed me when I said I was here to be shut down. I mean, why wouldn't they believe me, I was an android. I wish they didn't have to escort me, then I wouldn't have to hurt them. I almost felt bad, but I needed to help Markus. It was kinda odd, how I just went from following orders, to breaking them. I was broken from my thoughts as the elevator doors opened. I had to go down but we were going up. I looked around for a moment, seeing what could be done to make sure I didn't keep going up. I noticed a camera. I can't have them catch me doing this. I hacked it, and disabled the camera. All there was left to do was take out the guards with me. I quickly pushed the guard on my left into the wall, I knew the next one would try to grab me so I kicked my leg back in defense giving me an opening to grab one of there guns. I turned around sending my fist into the mans throat cause him to fall to the group. The last guard grabbed me from behind causing me to lose my balance. I used my foot to kick the guard on the ground making me push us both back. I put my hands behind my head, firing the gun and killing him, the quickly rolling and shooting the final one.

(Best thing ever

(Best thing ever. I don't know why I love this so much *v*)

I changed the floor by using one of the guards voice. It registered and changed course. I slowly started making my way down. "I need to hurry" I mumbled to myself. I hope Charlotte is okay, we need this to work. I shook my head. "I always accomplish my mission" I could see hundreds of androids as I was lowered down. The elevator opened. This seemed all to easy. I took my first steps out slowly. Looking around, just in case someone might have caught on, but only androids were present in this room. They all looked the same, all seeming to be the same model. I'm a bit surprised CyberLife didn't destroy these like they were doing with the others. I stopped, taking off my 'skin' and walked towards and android, ready to awaken him. I gently grabbed his hand but stopped. I heard a moan of pain. Charlotte had another Connor's arm wrapped around her neck and he was using his other hand to point a gun at Hank. "Easy, fucking piece of shit!..." Hank was angry but still calm, knowing that he didn't have anything else to do but comply.

Charlotte's POV -

(Everything like this is the bad Connor. I felt it was kinda confusing to understand and a little hard for me to write. So it will be easier to understand and when both Connor's fight it will go back to the way it was.)

Hank and I both watched the elevator go down. I could see Connor. I wanted to yell, to run, anything. I didn't want him to get hurt. Connor went straight for an android, getting ready to wake them up but this... thing, wasn't going to let him. He pushed Hank forward and pulled me along. So tight that I could hardly breathe. Connor stopped upon hearing us. His LED flashing red. "Step back, Connor! And I'll spare them." Hank spoke over him, still being as calm as he usually is. "Sorry, Connor. This bastard's your spittin image" Tear welled in my eyes. "Connor-" I was cut off by him holding me tighter. My hands grabbing his arms, hoping it might stop him. He was too strong. "Your friend's lives are in your hands. Now it's time to decide what matters most! Him? Her? Or the revolution." The gun was inched from Hanks head. The bad Connor's finger on the trigger. Ready to shoot at anytime. "Don't listen to him! Everything this fucker says is a lie." Connor was stilling holding the android's arm. "Connor- ARK... it'll... it'll be okay." I smiled fakly at him, hoping it would reassure him. "I'm sorry Hank." Connor glanced at me. "Charlotte. You shouldn't have gotten mixed up in all of this!" Connor yelled. The gun was now pressed against his head. "Forget about me, do what you have to do!" I nodded in agreement. "If I surrender. How do I know you wont kill them?" I can't believe he was actually thinking of giving up. "Connor no!" His grip tightened again. "I'll only do what is strictly necessary to accomplish my mission. It's up to you whether or not that includes killing these humans." The Connor looked at Hank. I knew he wouldn't hesitate. The Connor got angry, moving towards Hank. "Enough talk! It's time to decide who you really are" It almost sounded the same. Like how Markus asked him early. It was opposite now. This time he really did have a choice in this. Before he was just any other android following orders. He was free now, to make him own choices. One of his first choices as a living being. "Are you gonna save you partner's life? or are you going to kill your precious human girlfriend along with him?" Both the gun and his arm moved. Causing both Hank and I to become more uneasy. Connor let go of the androids hand, putting his arms in the arm. "Alright, alright!" He stepped away from the android. "You win." Tears flowed down my face. He pushed me to the ground, moving his gun to face the real Connor. Hank grabbed it's arm trying to disarm himHe pushed Hank to the ground as the real Connor pulled out his gun. They both ended up hitting each other with there bullets. Connor ran to him trying to throw him to the ground. He twisted himself to throw his other self onto the ground. He stood and they looked into each other's eyes. I was starting to get confused on who was who. The more they faught the more they got jumbled. They threw punches as I crawled away. Hank and I both had guns. "Hold it!" We both yelled in unison. Hank aimed at the one his right. I aimed to the one on our left. They stood up slowly but the one on the right began to speak. "Thanks Hank. I don't know how I'd have managed without you..." It looked at me. I called him 'it' cause I had no idea which was the real one. "Thank you, Charlotte." My brain becoming more and more confused. "Get rid of him, we have no time to lose." I aimed my gun at the one in front of me. He stared back in shock. Shaking his head, almost like he was telling me it was a lie. The one on our left looked at Hank. "It's me Hank. I'm the real Connor." Hank not seeming fazed, began to speak. "One of you is my partner... the other is a sack of shit." We stood silent for a moment. "The question is, who is who?" I replied into the silence. The one on the right spoke. "What are you doing Charlotte? I'm the real Connor." I think he spoke to me cause I was aiming at the opposite one. He went to move toward me as he spoke. "Give me the gun and I'll take care of-" "Don't move!" Hank cut him off. I flinched at the Connor in front of me spoke. "Why don't you ask us something? Something only the real Connor would know." Hank and I quickly looked at each other, before nodding. "Uh, where did we first meet?" We both had our eyes on a different Connor. I watched at the Connor in front of me went to speak but was cut off by the other answering quicker. The other one was right and this Connor in front of me looked confused. He looked down for a moment. "He uploaded my memory." I could hear what he said clearly. I felt it was him, the real Connor. "What's my dogs name?" He answered quickly. "Sumo! His name is Sumo!" The other Connor tried to prove himself. Saving that he also knew that. I rolled my eyes. If that was the real answer, he wasn't helping his case much, just confusing us more. Hank hesitated before asking a final question. "My son, what's his name?" You could almost hear a pin drop. I knew that was hard for him and I knew it was something he never talked about him. He didn't like remembering what had happened. "Cole..." Connor said softly. I knew it was him right after he said it. His voice was soft, and gentle. Making sure to speak with respect and to not hurt Hank more than he already was. I move my gun towards the fake. "His name was Cole. And he just turned six at the time of the accident..." We were all looking at him, even the fake was. "It wasn't your fault, Lieutenant. A truck skidded on a sheet of ice and your car rolled over. Cole needed emergency surgery but no human was available to do it. So an android had to take care of him... Cole didn't make it." Hank slowly lowered his gun, knowing what I already knew. "That's why you hate androids. You think one of us is responsible for your son's death." Hank didn't hesitate to respond. "Cole died because I human surgeon was to high on red ice to operate. He was the one that took my son from me. Him and this world, where the only way people can find comfort is with a fistful of powder." The fake opened his mouth but I didn't let anything slip. I shot him and kept shooting and shooting until Hank to pull the gun from my hands. I was crying. I grabbed him, gripping his shirt with everything I had. "I've learned a lot since I met you, Connor. Maybe there's something to this, maybe you really are alive. Maybe you'll be the ones to make the world a better place." Hank rubbed circles on my back. "Go ahead, and do what you gotta go." He turned away but smiled and lightly pushed me towards Connor. "And keep her safe. She needs you and it seems you need her too." Connor stopped for a moment, looking down at me. I couldn't hold back anymore. I needed to feel his skin and this clothes. I wanted to be in his arms. I stumbled over, almost calapsing in his embrace. He held me so tight but pushed me away to scan my neck. It was obviously bruising. He bent down slightly and kissed it. I smiled and played with his hair. We moved away and I watched as he awoke the first android. And soon they all were awake.

We walked, together. Connor and I hand in hand, with an army of androids following. We stopping in front of Markus. I let go of Connor's hand, a smile etched on my face. I ran and took him into my embrace. He smiled and returned it. I pulled away facing Connor again. Him smiling down on me. "You did it Markus." "We did it." Markus corrected. I walked over to Connor. Seeing so many androids around. I wrapped my arms around his neck, standing on my toes. I looked into his eyes. Seeing the life in them. I felt him pull me closer by the waist and kissing me. It was only for a few moments but I knew now he was happy. He pulled away and leaned his forehead to mine. "I love you, Charlotte." Tears raced down my face. I nodded and kissed him once more time. "I love you too."

"This is a great day for our people." Markus said to us both. "Humans will have no choice now. They'll have to listen to us." Connor and I moved aside so Markus could look at the hundreds of androids standing before him. Markus and North shared a moment. Showing there real white skeleton to touch hands. I smiled and wrapped my arms around Connor's side. We stood on a stage and Markus began to speak to his people. I noticed Connor looked out of it and felt uneasy. I hoped, that now that Connor was free, Amanda couldn't take him. I saw his hand move, gun in hand. I stood in front of him, blocking Markus. "Connor? Baby?" I put my hands on his face. He didn't move. "Don't let her take over. You are alive now and you get to choose your own destiny. It's okay." His arm raised slowly. I grabbed his arm, shaking my head. I saw his dead eyes come back to life and he blinked slowly. He looked down, seeing what he could have done. His eyes watered slightly. I pushed his head into my neck. "I got you. Your okay."

We are alive
