Okay so it's a soulmate AU where everyone has a flower dedicated to them. When they get hurt flowers appear in the same spot where they have an injury, I guess. If it's something like a broken arm, it'll last until it gets treated. (so, like once a cast is put on it or whatever, the flowers disappear) They also feel each other's pain, but it's lessened. Once they fall in love, the flowers stop appearing, but they still feel their soulmate's pain. The flowers have thorns too if they hurt themselves on purpose, and if they were hurt by someone else, there are like vines, whereas if they like tripped or something, there are just the flowers.
They have one of the flowers on their wrists, too, (the right wrist, specifically) and the closer they get to falling in love with their soulmate, the flower gets closer to blooming state. (This flower never disappears unless soulmates fall out of love (i.e. Heidi doesn't have hers anymore, but Cynthia and Larry both have theirs) If they fall out of love, they start wilting when the relationship starts to get rocky and die once it's over. Some people get new soulmates, but some aren't destined to have another.
If they don't fall in love by the time they're supposed to, (according to their destiny and shit) their flowers die, and if they're flowers die before they even fall in love with their soulmates they won't get new ones, they just die alone I guess.
The flowers aren't like 3D flowers, they're sort of like tattoos, but of course they change
Okay I think that's all that there is to the AU itself but as for the characters I'm gonna specify some things really quick

I did a lot of research on the symbolism of the flowers and their colors probably too much but whatever, leave me alone
Also, in this fic, Jared and Evan have known each other since they were literally toddlers, but they've never really talked to the others (except Alana but they aren't friends or anything)
