Y'all were showing mad love on the last chapter so I thought I'd crank out this one ASAP. Here is it! I hope you enjoy. 🤗😘

"It's a little burnt." Phoenix kissed Chris's bare back as she continued holding him from behind. "Let's throw that one out and make another one."

"I never knew how hard it was to make pancakes." Chris spoke while tossing the overly brown pancake on a plate that housed 5 other burnt pancakes. He then turned around to face Phoenix and placed a kiss on the top of her nose. "Why don't you just make them?"

"It's not that hard sweetface." She assured while taking the spatula from her fiancé's hand. She sprayed some nonstick cooking spray onto the skillet before adjusting the heat. "First of all, you had the heat on way too high... that's why all of your pancakes were burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle."

"Well, that's good to know 10 minutes later." He replied sarcastically, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind as she did to him previously. He rested his chin on Phoenix's shoulder as she poured in some pancake batter.

"You should only have to flip a pancake once or else you'll risk it being flat instead of fluffy." Phoenix explained, ignoring his remark. "Once you see the bubbles, it's ALMOST time to flip but not exactly. Give it a few more seconds and you've got yourself a perfect pancake on one side."

Chris placed a wet kiss on Phoenix's neck as she concentrated on the skillet in front of her. He ran his fingers down the side of her tummy, stopping at the hem of her red lace panties. The image of them on the floor not even an hour ago as he passionately made love to his fiancée flooded his memory. He loved waking up to Phoenix every morning and being able to see her before work.

It was rare that she stayed around while he was filming but for the last two weeks, she had been staying in Boston with him. She took a short trip back to Los Angeles to retrieve her most important filming equipment but came back the next day. Chris assured her that she didn't have to stay if she didn't want to but she insisted. She was secretly starting to appreciate her fiancé's hometown and loved being in such close proximity to his family.

Thanks to her engagement, Phoenix and Lisa had more things to talk about than ever and had been meeting up regularly to discuss the wedding. Although Phoenix wasn't sure exactly what she wanted or where to begin, she adored Lisa's excitement. And talking about her wedding was a surefire way to keep her mind off of Tom, who she had been meaning to reach out to - per Chris's advice.

She contemplated calling him a week back but decided to wait until after the Far From Home premiere. The last thing Phoenix wanted to do was stress him out ahead of his huge movie opening, especially since a serious conversation was due. However, the premiere was almost five days ago and Phoenix had yet to reach out to him. She was simply afraid since she had no clue how to begin the conversation.

"Voila!" Phoenix exclaimed after placing her pancake on the plate opposite of Chris's burnt stack. "Perfect pancake. Almost too perfect to eat."

"You're perfect and I still eat you on the regular." Chris commented. "As a matter of fact, I just did half an hour ago."

"Chris!"

"What did I do?" He questioned with a smile before planting kisses all over Phoenix's face. "I love you."

"I love you too."
