"Is this all of them?" Phoenix asked while examining the contents of the 4 boxes that beside the front door, filled with glass beer bottles. She had been pushing Chris to start recycling them for over a year so he had been putting them aside in boxes after he finished rather than throwing them away. Since today was their last day in Boston, Phoenix thought it would be the perfect time to remind him to take them all to a recycling center.
"I think so." Chris answered.
"You drink a lot of beer, Evans." She mumbled. "How are you not..."
"Because I workout, Phoenix." He chuckled as Phoenix slid her hand up his shirt to feel his muscular chest.
"Really I couldn't tell." She replied sarcastically.
"Fuck looking good for America, this is all for you."
"I'm one hundred percent sure half of the American population still wants to fuck you regardless, men included." Phoenix spoke with a small laugh.
"I'm one hundred percent sure only one person gets to do that and I'm marrying her."
"Are you now? That's news to me."
"Come here." Chris demanded while gently pulling Phoenix into his chest. He planted a kiss on her forehead before moving to her cheek and finally her lips. "I love you."
"I love you too." Phoenix responded as she relaxed into Chris's embrace and allowed herself to fully immerse in his warm hug. She took a moment to examine the gorgeous square cut engagement ring that took up half of her finger, still in utter shock that she not only ended up with the absolute perfect person for her but she would also be marrying him in 5 short months. The same woman that felt so strongly about how little marriage meant two years ago was now more ready than ever walk down the aisle to Chris waiting for her at the alter. Even with almost no wedding plans, Phoenix was ready to wed her partner.
"I love the way that looks on your finger." Chris commented when he noticed her looking intently at her engagement ring.
Phoenix looked up at him after placing her left hand on his. "Soon, you'll have a ring of your own."
"Soon can't come soon enough."
"I talked to my mom the other day about the wedding and she gave me an entire list of wedding planners in L.A. that we could meet with. All referred to her by friends."
"I'll take a look at my schedule and see when I can fit some time in so you won't have to go alone."
"I don't mind going alone if you're busy." Phoenix assured. "I was planning on making a vlog about the whole experience anyways."
"You're sharing our wedding plans with your subscribers?"
"Not exactly the wedding plans but the process, yes." She answered. "I've kinda been thinking about making a separate wedding video for YouTube as well."
"A wedding video?" Chris repeated with a frown. "You're telling me you're going to spend all your time talking to a camera on our wedding day?"
"No... I'm saying we'll hire a videographer and share some of the footage on YouTube."
"You don't want to keep our wedding private?"
"My job is literally to share my life with my subscribers." She reminded. "Why would I keep them out of such a life changing event?"
"There are just moments in your life that are so special and intimate that you want keep them to yourself. Shouldn't our wedding be one of those moments?"
"I don't see what's so wrong about posting a 10 minute video with some footage from our wedding... it's not like we're taping a whole wedding special. It's just a small snippet to share with the world."
