Serendipity [ Eli and Pen ]

PROLOGUE

P R O L O G U E

I found myself standing in front of the crowd, I got all eyes on me and they kept on asking me questions.

"Totoo ba? Ikaw talaga?"
"Did you cast a spell on him? O baka one night stand?"
"Are you really the mother of Eldrich Sullivan?"
"Baka naman iba yung ama?"
"Are you sure si Eli ang father?"
"Damn, are you pranking us?"

I can't speak up, I am still in a state of shock.

"Tinatanong ka namin, bingi ka ba?"

Naglakad siya palapit sa'kin at akmang itutulak ako nang may humarang. Unti-unti kong inangat ang tingin ko.

It was Eli.

"Eli! Finally you're here! Clear it up for once, di naman totoong anak niyong dalawa si Eldrich diba?" Somebody asked from the crowd.

Sandaling natahimik ang lahat. They're all waiting for Eli's answer.

"It is true. Eldrich is my son and Pen is the mother. Now, can we leave?" He said. Nanlaki ang mata ko. He then pulled me away from the crowd.

"Eli, bat mo sinabi yun?" I asked.

He did not answer, instead, binuhat niya ko papasok sa kotse niya.

Pero paano nga ba nangyari 'to? Paanong ang isang Elias Sullivan na kilalang law student at sikat na modelo ay may tinatago daw na anak, at ang ina ng anak na 'yun ay ako? Paano humantong sa ganito ang lahat?
