So, for the 110th time, my apologies for a confusing and embarrassing mistake when I wrote "Your lover's boyfriend" I meant Lawyer. Shoot me.

I'll need a Beta soon to help with revision, I write and re-write, and correct, and revise again but still would like another set of eyes because mine are tired after looking at the same thing more than three times.

"Please come."

"To a club? No thanks." He grimaces over the laptop on his lap.

"Pretty please, 2h maximum, don't leave me alone with your sister. She bites." Madison begs, pushing the laptop off his lap wrapping her legs around his and her arms behind his neck.

He chuckles amused dancing his hands around her hips.

"She's just a little wary, like everyone else who saw us... Especially here, people talk and they think it's strange. Give her some time, yes?"

Madison sighs.

Last night after Theodore walked back to her, Sapphire joined the group, apologizing for her sudden behavior and the impolite way she acted with Madison, asking if she'd give her a second chance to get to know each other over a drink/night out. She remembers vividly Grayson casually shaking his head in denial, but she didn't want to offend Theodore, so she accepted Sapphire's invitation.

Madison spent the whole day on edge since the invitation, she tried contacting Julia but she didn't answer none of her calls or messages, with so much going in her mind: what to wear, what to say, how to act. It didn't cross her mind if something happened to Jules, either way, she didn't have time.

"So you're wearing this?" Theodore glances over her shiny choice of dress.

"What? You don't like it?"

"No, I mean, it's cold out there an..."

"Theodore Han, there's nothing wrong with this dress!" She spanks him playfully.

"I see a lot of things that would be wrong if other men saw it." He says leaning closer, his breathing rubbing against her exposed chest, sending chills all over her skin.

"There's also a lot of things I wanna do to you with those glasses on." She teases playing with his lips.

"Behave, don't get wasted, don't dance with strangers..."

"Yes dad." Madison rolls her eyes.

"And keep this." He tucks his business card in her bra. "In case of emergency, hopefully, you won't have to use it."

As the hour approached, Sapphire sat on the back of the rental she requested for that evening, looking out the tinted window, engaging in her own thoughts.

"Thinking Sapphire?" Her friend Mei Sao asked.

"Plotting." She smirked.

"Of course you are." Mei laughed. "I was going to ask you why you asked me to request an escort tonight?"

Sapphire's evil grin told her enough about what tonight was all about. She despised that gold digger of a waitress, that her brother blindly brought to Shanghai. Hell, escorts were not a problem in Shanghai or any part of the globe for that matter, as long as Theodore didn't fall in love and put his business, his career at risk. Women were a distraction to him and that's when she had to intervene to keep things in order.
