Bucky walks through fields of long crisp grass, placing a hand above his shaped eyebrows to try and block the scorching sun from his vision. Sweat soaks his skin from head to toe, dripping down the curves of his body and the definition of his muscular arms.

"Where the hell is this horse dad was talking about?" He thinks to himself with a sigh, continuing his trudge through itchy grass.

He really should've brought a hat, he's probably gonna go back home looking like a tomato. That thought causes him to stop. "Maybe I should stop.. the horse was probably just a stupid story."

Bucky nods his head at his conclusion, turning around to begin to head back home and start on his homework, when the sound of hooves hitting the uneven ground surrounds his ears and causes his heart to start to hammer in his chest.

He hears a horse whinny, and in a matter of seconds, speed straight past him and send a unholy amount of wind and dirt into his hot face.

Bucky places a hand over his mouth and coughs, waving the other around to rid of the dirt still floating in the air and threatening to stick to his sweaty skin.

Once the dirt filled air had disappeared from his sight, Bucky looks straight ahead with his hand once again above his eyebrows. In the distance, atop a hill, stood a large pitch black horse now munching peacefully on the grass.

A gasp escapes Bucky's now dry lips, a smile quirking at the corners of his mouth. The horse was absolutely gorgeous. Thick black mane and tail, a soft coat that glistens in the sun, and those eyes. Those damn eyes were one of the brightest blues Bucky had ever seen when the horse lifts its head, causing his smile to widen.

Slowly and carefully, Bucky makes his way up the steep hill and heads towards the magnificent beast. Once he was only a few meters away, the horse perks its head up and stares directly at him.

Bucky froze in fright, as if his entire body had turned to ice. He watcha with interest as the horse begins to slowly walk towards him, never removing its gaze from his slightly muscular figure.

He closes his eyes, feeling his hands start to shake as he clenches them into tight fists by his side. Bucky did not want to get attacked.

But at the sudden feeling of warm air being blown onto his scrunched up face and the smell of grass fills his nostrils, Bucky flutters his eyes open nervously. Once his blue eyes had adjusted to the bright light, Bucky came face to face with the beautiful horse that he now wants to call his own.

The two never left each other's gaze, and Bucky couldn't help but feel himself beginning to get lost in its bright blue eyes that had a sense of curiousness behind the pupil.

The horse moves its nose closer to Bucky's face, sniffing and nudging at the sweaty and dirt covered skin. Bucky couldn't help but chuckle at the horses actions, and reaches his hand up to pat its soft fur.

The horses nose was so close to his hand, easing into it when the moment was interrupted by a familiar loud deep voice. "BUCKY! I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT HORSE! IT'S DANGEROUS!"

Without a second thought, the horse flicks its ears backward and neighs loudly, leaping up onto its back legs before speeding off down the hill. Bucky watches as the fearful beast canters  away into the woods located near their property, a sigh of disappointment slipping from his lips.

Bucky hears the thump of boots against the grassy ground, knowing exactly whom the being was as they ran towards him, grabbing his shoulder harshly once they were by his side and turns Bucky to face them.

"Why did you ignore me? I told you to never go near that horse!" his father growls, eyebrows furrowed together.

"I'm sorry, dad." Bucky begins, eyes lowering. "I couldn't help myself. When you were talking about that horse last night, I couldn't stop thinking about it throughout the entire day." He explains.
