Uhh hello genie_us!

My problem is since the World Cup I have been a big fan of Lionel Messi and Mesut Özil and I'm scared of becoming obsessed so please give me some advice but I think nevertheless I will always be big fan of Leo...

*a few weeks later*

Now it's for Demi Lovato and the X Factor...

Help.

Hey!

FOOTBALL FANS IN THE HOUSE SAY YEAAAAAAAA

I LOVE MESSI TOO OMG I DIED WATCHING HIM PLAY LIVE

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

OZIL IS AMAZING TOO (except that he plays for arsenal))

I don't think this is helping, huh.

One thing you need to understand is, IT'S OKAY. IT'S OKAY TO LIKE SOMEONE SO MUCH. IT REALLY IS!

I have so many role models. I fangirl over so many famous people. And so do lots of people on here...heck, so does everyone in the world.

Sometimes when I get obsessed over someone, I download a million pictures of them, read all about them, make them my screen saver (Daniel Craig, aka James Bond, is my current screen saver - has been for about a year now lol)...I sound like such a stalker oh lawd

So don't feel like there's anything wrong with you, is what I'm trying to say.

Thing is, even though I really like Daniel Craig (for instance), he doesn't control my life. And so it's okay to like someone so much, just don't let them become such a main part of your life. It's easy to understand why you love Messi or the X-Factor.

To try and stop yourself from becoming too obsessed, limit the amount of time you get to watch them (on TV or on Youtubr or whatever). Don't completely stop, but don't go overboard with them. That's all the advice I can give you, because there's nothing wrong with you if you get obsessed with someone and like, thing is:

it fades away.

It just does. I still find Daniel Craig sexy as hell, but I'm not as obsessed as I was when my love of James Bond began. I will still fangirl over him when I'm watching Casino Royale or Skyfall or something, but it's never that serious. He doesn't consume my thoughts, because I know that after all, he's a celebrity and he's so out of my reach.

So yes, I literally cried when I saw Wayne Rooney playing (live). But you know what? That's okay too. I was star struck, and I guess that's what you are (except that you didn't see them in person), and IT'S FINE

IT'S BLOODY OKAY!

However, if you're subsequently fantasizing over them, there's a serious problem there. Please seek help from a psychiatrist.

Stay cool!
