No one moved. The three Champions stared stared at Ludo Bagman in disbelief.

"Oh I underztand! Very funny joke Mr. Bagman." Fleur said with a forced laugh.

"Joke?!" Bagman asked, bewildered. "No, no, not at all! Harry's name just came out of the Goblet of Fire."

Percy's ears rang. Harry couldn't be a champion, he was far too young! People died in this tournament. This couldn't be real!

Percy stormed over to Ludo Bagman and grabbed him by the front of his robes. "I don't know why you think this is all fun and games! This isn't some joke you bastard! Harry can't compete, he's too young, he's-" Percy's voice broke. He dropped the front of Bagman's robes who immediately scrambled back in fear.

It was all too much. Percy couldn't lose another friend, days had past were he could barely roll out of bed thinking about his friends who's fate had been frozen in the future. If he lost Harry too... No, he wouldn't.

The door flew open, nearly coming off it's hinges. Professor Dumbledore practically glided into the room, closely followed by Mr. Crouch, Karkaroff, Madame Maxime, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape. The sound of hundreds of student's questions was on full display before Professor McGonagall shut the door.

Dumbledore reached Harry in two long strides. The man grabbed Harry by the arm and sent a penetrating gaze directly into his eyes. "Harry did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?" Dumbledore spoke slowly but very firmly, like a flood barely held back by a dam.

"No." Harry said, looking around at everyone nervously. Professor Snape made a soft noise of impatient disbelief.

Dumbledore ignored Snape. "Did you have an older student put your name in for you?"

"No." Harry denied vehemently.

"Ah, but of courze 'e is lying! Why wouldn't 'e be?" Madame Maxime cried. Snape's lip was now shaking his head, his lip curled in disgust.

"We were under the impression your age line would keep out younger contestants Dumbledore. Otherwise, of course, we would have brought along a wider selection of candidates from our own school." Karkaroff said angrily.

"It's no one's fault but Potter's Karkaroff." Snape muttered cooly. "Don't go blaming Dumbledore for Potter's determination to break rules. He's been crossing lines since he's arrived at Hogwarts-."

"Thank you Severus." Said Dumbledore firmly. Snape went quiet, his eyes still glinted malevolently through a curtain of greasy black hair.

Percy had always respected Snape, he never left too bad of impression aside from being a bit of a dick. So why was he trying so hard to get Harry in trouble?

"He could not have crossed the age line." Said Professor McGonagall sharply. "I'm sure we're all agreed on that?"

"Dumbly-dorr must 'ave made a mistake wiz 'ze line." Said Madame Maxime with a shrug.

"It is possible, of course." Dumbledore said politely.

Percy was through with this useless bickering. It wasn't accomplishing anything. "That's not true... Don't lie Professor." Percy mumbled.
