The rest of the fights came and went like a flash.
Throughout the rest of the day, Azami found herself unable to concentrate on the remaining battles.
Her mind was constantly wandering and tuning out the voices of everyone else in the observation room.
What was she thinking of, exactly?
Well, she was thinking about a certain blonde, of course.
Katsuki stood at the corner of the room, a few feet away from Azami and the rest of the group. She couldn't help but steal glances at the taller male every now and then, but each time she did, she swore his face darkened more and more.
He hadn't uttered a single word since after the fight, and most of the class was either too afraid to talk to him or figured it would be best to leave the boy alone with his own thoughts.
But sometimes being left with no one but yourself and your mind could just lead to you spiralling down further into the dark.
The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, and Azami soon found herself standing near the entrance of the school, awaiting the arrival of her fathers so that they could head home.
As she fiddled with the hem of her blazer in boredom, Azami heard footsteps walking closer to her.
She looked up and her strangely colored eyes were met with dark crimson ones.
They held pain behind them, and the one that had these eyes was clearly distraught.
Katsuki held her gaze for a moment before realizing that he was staring and quickly looked away, his pace growing quicker than before.
After taking in a deep breath to calm her growing nervousness, Azami finally built up the courage to talk to the boy. She may not be the best when it comes to comforting someone, but she couldn't just let him sulk on his own.
She could at least try.
"Hey, Bakugo..." Azami approached the male slowly, the tapping of her feet alerting the boy as she came closer. Her voice was soft and gentle with an edge of concern etched onto it.
"What do you want?" Katsuki looked up from the ground and glared at her, clearly not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment. He stopped his walking and turned towards her, wearing a mask of annoyance on his face.
"I just figured you needed someone to talk to is all... I can tell you're still upset over the battle," Azami said.
"So what? This is only the first fucking fight. I won't let that fucking nerd win next time!" Katsuki growled, his hands clenching tightly into fists. She could see water brimming the edge of his eyes, threatening to spill out at any moment.
